Wattson using kraber in apex legends season 13

Apex Legends Season 13 is almost here, and devs Respawn Entertainment have revealed all the changes you can expect to see. Here’s every weapon buff and nerf from the Apex Legends Season 13 update patch notes, including the controversial Kraber nerf.

Apex Legends Season 13 goes live on May 10, bringing the new Legend Newcastle and major Ranked Play changes. That’s not all of course, as Respawn have detailed all of the major changes players can expect in the new season.

Alongside giving major buffs to helmets, Season 13 has nerfed the Kraber and brought significant changes to LMGs. For everything you need to know, here’s every weapon buff and nerf in Apex Legends Season 13.

Kraber nerf in Apex Legends Season 13

The Kraber has always been a hotly debated weapon in Apex Legends thanks to its ability to one-shot headshot a fully armored player, but the Season 13 patch notes have revealed that that’s no longer the case.

The Kraber’s headshot multiplier has been reduced from 3.0 to 2.0, and its overall damage has been reduced from 145 to 140. It will still one-shot players with low-level armor, but those rocking a Purple helmet and high-level Evo Shield will get away with their life.

LMGs nerfed in Apex Legends Season 13

LMGs were some of the most powerful weapons in Apex Legends Season 12, and Respawn hit them with a ton of nerfs in Season 13.

While the Rampage, LSTAR, and Devotion have all seen hits to their damage, headshot multipliers, and reload time, it’s the Spitfire that’s taken the brunt of the nerfs.

With the Spitfire being found as floor loot again, almost every aspect of it has been nerfed, with its damage, magazine capacity, headshot multiplier, and mobility all taking serious hits. Plus, it can no longer be fitted with a barrel attachment.

Wattson’s fence unusable in Apex Legends despite Season 14 fixes

Players are having trouble with Wattson’s fences yet again in Apex Legends, despite the Legend receiving fixes in Season 14 update.

Published

on

Apex Legends players are frustrated with Wattson’s fences as they claim the ability is unusable in Season 14.

Apex Legends players are finally able to enjoy the brand new Season 14 update, as the season dropped on August 9. Players have been getting to grips with Vantage, the overhauled Kings Canyon map, and various buffs and nerfs in the patch notes.

While some in the community have been focused on the Valkyrie nerfs and Mad Maggie buffs, which could potentially see her rise in popularity, others are disappointed with Wattson.

The new update supposedly brought improvements to Wattson’s fence placement, but the community have been experiencing the opposite.

Reddit user oscarwildeaf has highlighted the issue with Wattson’s fences on the Apex Legends subreddit, posting a video of the problem while sarcastically saying “another great patch for Wattson.”

The patch notes claimed that the devs had made “improvements” to the placement of Wattson fences, as there have been many issues with the ability in the past.

In the video, the player attempts to place Wattson fences but is inconveniently unable to do so, despite the UI showing that it is possible.

This is obviously extremely frustrating for Wattson players in Apex Legends Season 14, as her electric fences are her main tool and this isn’t the first time there have been issues with it.

One user in the comments of the post even said “Wattsons been dealing with this for a while anytime they change fences or arcstars they break s***. You can expect a fix maybe in season 15, time to retire Wattson for 14.”

Clearly, this player feels that Wattson’s fence placement will be broken for some time, but hopefully Respawn prove them wrong and bring a permanent fix for the issue soon.

On the topic of bugs and issues, a new Apex Legends Season 14 glitch is causing characters to have the wrong abilities, making for some hilarious clips.

When is Apex Legends Season 15? Season 14 end date, leaked Legend, more

Here’s everything we know about Apex Legends Season 15 including the expected start date, Legend, and map leaks.

Published

on

Apex Legends Season 14 arrived on August 9, bringing new Legend Vantage and significant Kings Canyon map changes. Season 15 is next up, so here’s everything we know including the expected start date, leaked Legend, and more.

Apex Legends is now in its fourteenth season since its February 2019 release, bringing new weapons, maps, and of course, Legends, throughout the seasons. Season 14 has brought Vantage to the Apex Games, as well as increasing the level cap and changing Battle Pass challenges.

Season 15 arrives later in 2022, so here’s when Season 14 is scheduled to end and usher in the new season, as well as the leaked Legend and map that could arrive.

Apex Legends Season 15 start date & Season 14 end date

While Respawn Entertainment haven’t revealed a release date for Apex Legends Season 15, Season 14 is set to wrap up on November 8, 2022.

Assuming there are no delays, we expect Season 15 to kick off right after Season 14 concludes, bringing a new Battle Pass, Legend, and perhaps even a new map.

New Legend leaked for Apex Legends Season 15

According to datamining from ‘SomeoneWhoLeaks,’ Catalyst is set to be Apex Legends Season 15’s Legend.

Catalyst’s leaked abilities have been known for a while now, where the Legend will be able to create cover and platforms with ferrofluid. SomeoneWhoLeaks said that the Season 14 update added “New lines of code for the next legend, Catalyst,” with the files including a “ferro_wall” ability.

Here are all of Catalyst’s leaked abilities:

  • Passive: Reinforce
    • Standing near your ferrofluid structures, doors, and other Legends placeables will strengthen their integrity and allow them to take significantly more damage.
  • Tactical: Ferro Shot
    • On impact, the shot creates a ramp of hardened ferrofluid that can be extended with more shots. Can also be used to create platforms on walls. (Max 3 structures)
  • Ultimate: Iron Tower
    • Ferrofluid rises up from below pushing you upwards while creating a tall solid column under you.

Of course, this is just a leak for now so Catalyst might be scheduled for a later season or scrapped altogether.

New map could arrive in Apex Legends Season 15

An upcoming Apex Legends map called “Divided Moon” leaked back in March, and if Respawn Entertainment stay consistent with how often they add a new map, it could arrive in Season 15.

Respawn tends to add a new Apex Legends map every four seasons, with Season 3 bringing World’s Edge, Season 7 bringing Olympus, and Season 11 bringing Storm Point. This means that Season 15 could be the next season to bring a new map, but there’s far from any guarantee.

Insane Apex Legends glitch is giving characters the wrong abilities

Apex Legends players are reporting a strange glitch that’s causing their favorite characters to use the wrong abilities.

Published

on

Players hopping into Apex Legends Season 14 are encountering a bizarre glitch that is giving their favorite characters the abilities of other Legends.

Apex Legends Season 14 is finally here, and players are eagerly exploring all the new content that has arrived in the update, including the new Legend Vantage as well as numerous weapon buffs and nerfs.

However, the season’s launch hasn’t been problem-free as there are reports coming in from the Apex Legends community about a strange glitch that’s causing Legends to use the wrong abilities.

Reddit user ‘LiverPoisoningToast’ shared a short clip of their gameplay as Ash in the Apex Legends subreddit. Immediately players noticed something was wrong as the Legend was using Loba’s abilities.

Many of the commenters were amused by what happened in this clip, with one user sarcastically stating: “Well, at least the teleport works.”

Another post from Redditor ‘ZuVielPizza’ showed them using Vantage’s abilities while playing as Newcastle. Even though their teammate was actually playing as Vantage, they both had the same abilities.

Newcastle is a Defensive Legend who protects and revives his companions while Vantage is a Sniper that picks off her enemies from a distance. Their ability sets are extremely different, so players hoping to play as their favorite characters are finding this glitch jarring.

More examples of this glitch keep popping up in the Apex Legends subreddit, with another user sharing a clip of Bangalore and Bloodhound switching abilities. The comments of these posts are filled with players sharing their own experiences with the glitch.

One user commented: “I was in a game where the Wraith on our team had Vantage’s abilities and voice lines.” Another one mentioned having all of Seer’s abilities when playing as the Legend Watson.

At the time of writing, the exact cause of the bug is unknown, but players are hoping that Respawn will fix it quickly as it’s popping up frequently. Hopefully, this problem will be patched up in an update soon.
