Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 8, brought IO Guards back to the map, and you can take them down to complete various challenges. Here are all the spawn locations for these AI enemies on the Island.

The Imagined Order, IO for short, is an organization that first appeared in Fortnite Season 5. They had several outposts and headquarters around the Island but were then removed for Season 6.

Now, Fortnite Season 8 has brought these enemies back, and you can battle them if you want to get yourself some cool tech weapons. They spawn from elevators around the map and will attack and chase nearby players.

Here are all the spawn locations for IO Guards in Fortnite Season 8.

IO Guard and Jonesy in Fortnite

There are a total of 5 different IO Guards spawn points around the Fortnite map.

It is important to note that if other players get to these Fortnite Season 8 IO Guard locations before you and eliminate them, you will not be able to eliminate them yourself.

You will have to go to another outpost or wait till a new game to have a chance of finding these enemies at the Season 8 Fortnite IO Guards locations.

Once you clear out a group of IO Guards, use this map to find the next group to receive more gold to purchase and upgrade weapons. You’ll also be able to get your hands on some cool IO tech weapons.

They take quite a lot of bullets to kill, so fight them from a distance, and they’ll miss the majority of their shots. Once they are knocked, you can give them a shakedown, and they’ll reveal the location of the rest of the IO Guards in their group.
