The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is currently the talk of the community and with the addition of several new characters, here’s a list of all the voice actors who are contributing to the game.
Nintendo’s next big release, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is going to be significantly bigger than Breath of the Wild. According to the trailers, we know that there will be plenty of new characters joining Link on his journey.
The Legend of Zelda franchise has remained a popular title for decades but what changed the Zelda series forever is the inclusion of voice actors. For the first time in Breath of the Wild, voice actors were added to give more meaning to the characters. With Tears of the Kingdom, the makers are set to recreate the same magic with new and old faces.

Link – Kengo Takanashi
Link is the protagonist of the franchise and although he does not speak, Kengo Takanashi is the voice actor for his character. The Japanese voice artist is whom you will hear every time Link yells or gasps. He voiced Link’s character in Breath of the Wild and is well-known for his roles in Kamen Rider Amazons (2016) and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (2018).
Princess Zelda – Patricia Summersett
Patricia Summersett was the voice actor for the titular character of Princess Zelda in Breath of Wild, and will once again return to voice the character in Tears of the Kingdom. She is a Canadian actress known for her roles in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, and in video games such as Arknights, Assassin’s Creed: Rogue (2014), and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate (2015). Patricia has also starred in several movies and TV shows such as Mother!, The Disappearance, The Bold Type, and many more.
Prince Sidon – Jamie Mortellaro
Sidon is a fan-favorite character and is recognized as Link’s companion who helped him to stop Ganon. Jamie Mortellaro was the English voice actor for the charismatic Prince Sidon in Breath of the Wild and fans are excited to hear him once again. Jamie is also known for his roles in video games like Hitman (2016), Horizon Zero Dawn (2017), and Astral Chain (2019).
Princess Mipha – Amelia Goth
Mipha is the princess of Zora and has already helped Link and Zelda to defeat the monster, Ganon. Amelia Goth is the voice actor for Princess Mipha who is essential to the story. She has also voiced characters in video games such as Final Fantasy and Let It Die.
King Rhoam – Bill Rogers
Hyrule’s king and Zelda’s father, King Rhoam was portrayed by Bill Rogers who gave a commanding voice to the character that is fit for a king. Bill is an American voice actor popularly known for his role as Brock in the Pokemon franchise.
Urbosa & Lady Makeela Riju – Elizabeth Maxwell
Riju claimed the throne of Gerudo at a tender age but is always trying to prove herself as a true leader of the clan. Both Urbosa and Riju are fierce warriors of Gerudo and were voiced by Elizabeth Maxwell, who was heard as Riju in The Tears of the Kingdom trailers. Elizabeth is an American voice actress known for her roles as Ymir in Attack on Titan, and My Hero Academia.
Ganondorf – Matthew Mercer
Matthew Mercer is going to be the voice actor for Zelda’s most iconic villain, Ganondorf. He is a Los Angeles-based actor particularly known for his roles in video games and as the primary member of Critical Role. Apart from this, he has a vast list of credits to his name, and among them are characters such as Cole Cassidy in Overwatch, Hermes in Blood of Zeus, Captain Levi in Attack on Titan, and Goro Majima in Yakuza: Like a Dragon.
Daruk & Yenobo – Joe Hernandez
Joe Hernandez has the job of lending his voice to two important characters, Daruk and Yenobo from the Goron tribe. Joe has decades of experience as a voice actor and some of his best work include Lost Ark, Saints Row, and Transformers: War for Cybertron.
Revali, Teba & The Great Deku Tree – Sean Chiplock
Sean Chiplock is going to be the voice actor for Revali and Teba along with voicing The Great Deku Tree in the Tears of the Kingdom. Recently, Sean has voiced characters from God of War and Midnight Suns. Apart from this, Sean has voiced plenty of Japanese anime projects.
