The Apex Legends January 27 update patch has brought some performance improvements along with a Treasure Packs fix, and here are the 1.87 update patch notes.

Apex Legends frequently receives update patches to fix the battle royale title’s most glaring bugs and glitches. As the Season 12 launch draws near, Respawn are addressing the current season’s issues.

The 1.87 update was released on January 27 across all platforms. It includes fixes for some frustrating bugs, like the one with Wraith’s Ultimate, as well as some performance improvements.

Repsawn Entertainment haven’t officially revealed the full 1.87 update patch notes. However, we do know about some noticeable bug fixes and other changes that have arrived in Apex Legends.

Here are the Apex Legends 1.87 update patch notes:

  • Addressed a bug where Wraith Ultimate disappearing when deployed close to Harvester wall
  • Addressed an issue where some players are reporting that the final day Treasure Pack is not granting any of the items
  • Fixed bugs related to Rampage charging VFX, UI inconsistencies
  • Addressed stability and performance issues
  • Other minor fixes

As you can see, this latest update is a relatively small one. It doesn’t bring a large collection of changes and mainly addresses issues like the Treasure Packs not working along with a few glitches.

Respawn Entertainment are currently preparing the battle royale title for the Season 12 launch which will bring plenty of changes. So, it’s reassuring to know that they’re still making time for Season 11’s issues.

At the time of writing, these are the only changes that have arrived in the game. We’ll keep checking to see if the 1.87 patch has brought any additional updates and will update this article.
