Apex Legends Ash abilities tips and tricks
Passive – Marked for Death
First off, we have Ash’s Passive ability, Marked for Death, one of her strongest abilities. Ash can see death boxes on the map and scan them to reveal the location of the remaining teammates or the team that killed the player.
This is an extremely offensive ability, as it allows Ash to find the next target quickly. However, you can also use this for positioning, as if you stumble across multiple boxes, you can scan them all and see where the local enemy teams are located.
You should also be aware that players are notified when Ash reveals their location, so make sure they don’t outsmart you. Further, you can only scan a death box once, so make sure you keep note of where the enemies are.
Tactical – Arc Snare
Next, we have Ash’s Tactical, Arc Snare, another offensive ability that can oppressive the enemy and restricts their movement.
Ash throws a slow-moving projectile that can stick into surfaces or players. The snare has a small area of effect that will tether players who get too close.
If you stick a player, it does 20 damage and tethers them. A great tip for this ability is to have a few grenades on you and coordinate with your team when you tether someone, as the tether can ruin enemy mobility and allow you to get an easy knock.
Ultimate – Phase Breach
Lastly, we have Ash’s Ultimate ability Phase Breach, which allows her and the team to take a one-way portal to a targeted location. This ability is best used when attacking a team and taking angles the enemies won’t expect you to take.
For example, if you’re pushing a team and they’re behind some cover, you can use the Phase Breach to surprise them and take an angle that will expose their position.
Further, you can also use it to escape from enemies and reposition if you find yourself in a bad spot. If you finish a fight and hear a third-party coming, it’s great for getting you and your team to a new position to either fight back or heal up.
There you have it, some tips and tricks on Ash and her abilities so you can dominate with the new Legend in Season 11. For more, check out our guide on the Wildlife on Storm Point.
