Apex Legends Battle Pass items get major change in Season 11
Apex Legends is bringing a major change to Battle Pass items in Season 11, with the rewards no longer being exclusive to their seasons.
With how many cool rewards have been available in Apex Legends’ previous Battle Passes, fans wanted Halo’s BP system in Apex Legends. One of the first games to take the plunge, Halo Infinite’s Battle Passes aren’t exclusive to seasons. The timer will never expire, and you can still earn the missed items well into future seasons.
Apex Legends Season 10 is here, and although Respawn Entertainment had previously stated an exciting change for the Season 10 Battle Pass, it seems it will now be coming in Season 11.
As spotted by Reddit user XboxSeriesS, Respawn Entertainment updated the Apex Legends FAQ, which changed the Season 10 Battle Pass system. However, leaker Garret has pointed out a recent edit of these statements, which infers that the change will arrive in Season 11.
Under the Special Events section now reads that the Battle Pass items “Can be obtained during the specific event period by Battle Pass owners who reach the required level. These items may return in a future event or promotion (This applies starting with Season 11 and onwards).”
So, items from the Season 11 Battle Pass and onwards may be available again in the future. Underneath the Battle Pass section of the FAQ, it also reads that “All seasonal cosmetic rewards in the Battle Pass are time-limited to the Season. From time to time, some items may come back, but it is up to the discretion of the team.”
It sounds like the Battle Pass items won’t be gone forever, but they’ll only return in rare instances. Most players were excited at the prospect, once again stating how good Halo Infinite’s system is. Others were more critical, annoyed at the idea of having previous BP items sold again.
