Like any new update, the Apex Legends Genesis Collection Event has given dataminers a chance to dig into some new code, revealing new leaks about a future Legend currently known as “Seer.”

The Apex Legends Genesis update has given players a lot of new content to enjoy, with some changes in the weapon meta, as well as nerfs and buffs to certain Legends.

Not only have players been enjoying the new content, but dataminers too have been given new code to dig around and leak some upcoming content. The latest leak surrounds a future Legend known as “Seer,” which players may have been teased about back in Season 8.

Apex Legends Seer

In Season 8, players were able to participate in an Arena teaser, which involved finding Corrupted Keycards and scanning Holosprays across Kings Canyon and Olympus.

This activated a teaser in the Firing Range which sent players to a new location and teased the 3v3 mode Arenas. During this teaser, some players may have noticed a suspicious-looking symbol on the wall just before activating the elevator.

Players initially didn’t notice this teaser, with some actually speculating it was for the Season 9 Legend, Valkyrie. However, it seems new leaks have now revealed who this teaser is referring to.

The dataminer responsible for the leaks is @SomeoneWhoLeaks, a trustworthy dataminer who has leaked things in the past, such as Valkyrie being the Season 9 Legend.

Although there was speculation that “Pariah” would be the next Legend, it seems the dataminer suggests Seer could be the Season 10 Legend, as their ability icons, and “Moth Drone” have both been found in the game’s files.

Seer’s ability icons

Three icons have been found for Seer’s abilities, but one thing that isn’t known is what each icon is for. Every Legend has three ability icons, one each for their Passive, Tactical, and Ultimate.

The first image may be Seer’s passive, the next is their Tactical, and the final image is their Moth Drone, which SomeoneWhoLeaks also revealed.

Although it is not clear yet what the drone will do, SomeoneWhoLeaks has managed to access Seer’s Moth to deploy animation. The Moth theme correlates to the Season 8 Arena teaser, which presented graffiti art of a moth with eyes, which could be the Legend’s logo.

SomeoneWhoLeaks also managed to get an image of Seers Moth drone as a charm, giving a more detailed look at what players can expect in-game.

Remember, these are just leaks, and nothing is yet confirmed by Respawn Entertainment, so take all of this with a pinch of salt, as we know the devs have the ability to change and duke dataminers as they did with Revenant‘s release back in Season 4.

Regardless, it’s always interesting to see what new code the updates bring, exciting players for what’s to come.
