Apex Legends devs confirm Mirage Voyage ship POI won’t return
The Mirage Voyage is one of the most popular POIs in Apex Legends, and Respawn Entertainment have confirmed that it probably won’t return to the battle royale anytime soon.
The Apex Legends Legacy update brought a plethora of brand-new content like the Arenas mode and Valkyrie. A ton of fans are playing Apex Legends this season, and they have their own favorite map areas.
The Mirage Voyage ship was first added to the game in Season 3 and has become a fan-favorite since then. However, Respawn have confirmed that we won’t see this POI return to the battle royale.
The next Ranked split in Apex Legends will bring the action to Olympus, so players were excited about seeing this POI again. Respawn Lead Designer Daniel Klein then confirmed on Reddit that Mirage Voyage won’t be coming back.
“Oh the Voyage is CRASHED crashed,” said the developer. “I think it’s down for good.” This came as a huge disappointment to fans that wanted the ship to be a recurring location the battle royale’s maps.
This is reminiscent of when Respawn retired Kings Canyon’s Skull Town which was another fan-favorite POI that was blown up for Season 5.
There have been hints that we might see the arrival of another similar ship in the game one day, but we won’t see the Mirage Voyage POI take flight again anytime soon.
We’ll just have to wait and see if Respawn Entertainment have any plans to introduce something else to fill the void left by the ship’s departure from the battle royale. Only time will tell if they do intend to release something.
