Olympus will be getting a makeover in Apex Legends Season 12, and the developers have provided a first look at all the brand-new changes that they have planned for the map.

Apex Legends Season 12 will bring a plethora of exciting content, including an update to Olympus. After Storm Point and World’s Edge became the focus of Season 11, players were awaiting the return of this fan-favorite map.

The Season 12 reveal has given us our first proper look at the return of Olympus. It also showcased a few of the changes that the developers have implemented in the map for the new season.

Respawn released teasers of Olympus within an Apex Legends Season 12 promotional image. It shows that the direction of the Orbital Cannon has changed, and a new structure is being constructed.

When you take a look at the map layout of Olympus, it becomes clear that these changes will be taking place outside of Bonsai Plaza. There will also be some other prominent map changes in Season 12.

We got a better look at the reworked Olympus in the Anniversary event trailer that was uploaded on January 25. The first few seconds show that there are more buildings and vehicles than before.

It’s possible that the developers might have changed the altitude of the map in Apex Legends Season 12. The “city in the sky” is lower than it previously was, allowing us to see more of the planet below.

The visible skyscrapers and buildings in the trailer suggest that we could see new playable areas on Olympus in Season 12. Players might be able to traverse these structures during battles.

However, this is purely speculation, and it’s currently unclear how many of those areas in the background will be accessible to players. Hopefully, we’ll get a closer look at these in more teasers.

There might be even more prominent changes to Olympus that have yet to be revealed. This could include brand-new vehicles, buildings, sniper spots, and loot. We’ll be sure to update you once more information becomes available.
