Respawn Entertainment have confirmed they are working on a hotfix for Apex Legends’ Encore Arena map, that came with a frustrating glitch that lets players shoot through walls.
Unfortunately, various players have reported a bug that lets them see through objects on the map and spot anyone who might be behind them. This has caught the attention of the developers as well.
Reddit user debroodpiraat shared a clip of their gameplay in the Apex Legends subreddit. It showcased the glitch letting barrages of fire go through objects like they were made of thin air.
This led to a response from Respawn Lead Level Designer, Dave ‘StryderPilot’ Osei, in the same thread. He reassured fans that the devs are aware of the problem and are working to solve it.
“Ugh, I’m sorry. This sucks. We should’ve caught this earlier. Working on a fix,” he wrote.
Apex Legends players have also been facing a few other problems with the game. Recent server issues have affected the game’s progress so much that player complaints have negatively impacted the Steam reviews.

Apex Legends: Crypto Heirloom model & animations leaked by dataminers
New Apex Legends leaks have uncovered the long awaited model and animations for Crypto’s Heirloom, which will likely drop in Season 12.
Apex Legends dataminers have been hard at work uncovering future content for Respawn’s battle royale, and the latest revealed Crypto’s Heirloom.
The Season 11 Collection Event will bring Wattson‘s Heirloom, but one character in particular has been amongst the talk of whose Heirloom will be next for quite a few seasons.
Finally, we have more information on Crypto‘s Heirloom, including when it could be arriving, the 3D model, and some of the animations.
Every Apex Legends player is desperate for an Heirloom and the Collection Events stand as the easiest way to obtain one. The only catch is that you don’t get to pick which one you get as the only one available during these events is the latest one to drop.

Although they aren’t the most popular Legend in the game, Crypto has always been a fan-favorite when it comes to personality and style. The Korean hacker was one of the first new Legends to drop, being introduced in Season 3 along with World’s Edge.
Despite being introduced so early, we have yet to see his Heirloom, well, until now.
Apex Legends Crypto Heirloom leak
The leaker responsible for Crypto’s Heirloom leaks is Thordan Smash. This is a very reliable source as they have been involved in several leaks that have come to fruition such as Ash’s abilities prior to Season 11.
In their latest video, they showed off footage of Crypto’s Heirloom from the player’s perspective. The Heirloom takes the form of a retracting Korean Jikdo sword. The version of Crypto’s Heirloom shown in the video is clearly unfinished as it doesn’t possess any textures or colors.
Having said that, we can probably expect the Jikdo to have the green and white pallet Crypto is known for.
We also got to see some interesting animations in the video. It seems the Jikdo will be retractable, and when Crypto pulls it out, it will extend almost like a lightsaber.
Crypto holds the Heirloom like a sword and for those who love Heirloom designs that actually look like weapons, this one is definitely for you.
That’s all on Crypto’s Heirloom leaks, for more on Apex Legends be sure to check out when Apex Legends’ third Anniversary is.

Who is the most popular Apex Legends character? Season 11 pick rates
Apex Legends Season 11 is well underway, but who has dominated the pick rates for Season 11 of Respawn’s battle royale so far?
Season 11 of Apex Legends has tons of characters to choose from to enjoy its several maps. But who has the top Season 11 pick rates in Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale shooter?
Apex Legends hit the ground running when it launched with eight different characters to choose from in its rival battle royale offering. The game suffered a notable lull when Call of Duty: Warzone launched, but with many players jumping ship to Respawn’s game in Season 10, Apex Legends Season 11 is pretty popular with gamers and streamers alike.
Between the Arenas mode and Ranked Leagues to compete in, thousands of matches have already been logged in Season 11, and we will break down and find the Legends with the highest pick rates in Season 11.

- Pathfinder – 8.9%

Most picked legends in Apex Legends Season 11
5. Pathfinder – 8.9%
Pathfinder has consistently been one of Apex Legends’ top five picks at 8.9%, and counting, for quite some time now.
As a Recon class, Pathfinder simply excels in movements and traversing the game’s various maps. His Grappling Hook and Zipline Gun are simply invaluable assets that will help any team in a pinch – either because of the circle or a third-party situation. He consistently manages to stay in the top 5 as a result.
4. Bloodhound – 9.2%
Again, with the influx of new Apex Legends players, Bloodhound is a great character to use for new players in Season 11.
Bloodhound nearly always stays in and around the 8-11% mark as a season goes on, and they currently stand at 9.2%. They are easily the top Recon class to use in Apex Legends, thanks to their tracking tools and incredible skills, plus, their Beast of the Hunt Ultimate is priceless.
3. Ash – 9.2%
As is always the case with a new season of Apex Legends, the debut of a new Legend usually drags tons of players away from their beloveds, and that has happened with Ash as she is in the top three with a pick rate of 9.2%.
Ash is a very offensive and aggressive Legend whose abilities let players launch deadly projectiles and also mark fresh deathboxes left behind by fallen players. This can help track players that have won a recent battle and could be prone to being jumped.
Ash’s Phase Breach Ultimate can also give her a huge edge in battle and lead to potentially game-winning plays if used correctly.
2. Wraith – 11.8%
Another starting legend, Wraith has been a consistent pick throughout Apex Legends’ lifetime, and she is still well-represented at 11.8% in Season 11.
Wraith’s stand-out features are her ability to get out of trouble very quickly – teammates included. Her abilities allow her to sense danger, become temporarily invulnerable, and create portals to escape predicaments. It’s easy to see why Wraith continues to be an absolute fan-favorite in Apex Legends Season 11.
1. Octane – 12% – Most picked Legend in Apex Legends Season 11
The pick rate king has returned in Season 11 after the Ash hype died down. With a 12% pick rate, the speed demon is currently the most popular Legend in Apex Legends Season 11.

Aside from his amusing quips, he is the perfect balance of offense and defense. Despite being regarded as an offensive Legend, Octane can greatly increase his sprint speed which is useful for both attack and running away.
But most Octane users thrive on his Launch Pad Ultimate which can send him, and friendly players, high up into the air.
That covers all the picks in Apex Legends Season 11. As always, buffs and nerfs will come and go throughout the season, affecting the game’s meta, and subsequently, Legend pick rates.
We’ll be sure to keep this updated regularly so you can stay on top of the in picks, and don’t forget to check out our guide on the best audio settings for Apex Legends Season 11.

Apex Legends community split over major Arc Star changes
The Apex Legends Raiders Collection Event patch notes revealed some changes coming to Arc Stars and players have reacted.
Apex Legends’ players are reacting to the Arc Star nerf detailed in the Raiders Collection Event patch notes, with some being confused about the change.
Respawn has officially announced the Apex Legends Collection Event for Season 11 titled “Raiders.” As well as brand new Pirate-themed cosmetics, Wattson’s Heirloom, and the return of Winter Express, the game will also be receiving some changes.
Arc Stars have always been a very useful and strong tool in Apex Legends. As well as being able to stick enemies with them, doing collective stick and detonation damage, they are also useful for damaging enemies who are holding a position.
It seems the devs have recognized their strength and decided to introduce some changes. As of December 7, the Arc Star will officially take on the following updates:
Apex Legends Arc Star changes
- Base stick damage lowered from 30 -> 10
- Shield Damage Multiplier increased from x3 -> x4 (stick on shielded enemy will now max out at 40 instead of 90)
- Sticking an enemy now applies a slow debuff (reverting Legacy update change)
- Slow duration is now driven by distance to the center of Arc Star detonation
The last time the devs brought changes to the Arc Star they removed the slow effect. It seems they will be reverting this change, bringing back the slow debuff but subsequently nerfing the overall potential damage.

The Arc Star will now do 10 damage on stick to an enemy without shield and 40 to an enemy with shield. Reddit user JuiceEeEeE361 had a few things to say about this change in their recent post, asking “why the hell did they nerf Arc Stars?”
A player in the comments also disagrees with the change, stating that they “would rather an Arc Star just f***ing decapitate me than slow me for longer than it does already.”
Respawn’s reasoning behind the change is because they felt the Arc Stars excelled in “a lot of areas.” They wanted to make them “less effective at area denial” and also make it more obvious when players were stuck with one.
It seems the community is split about the decision, as many comments are actually justifying the change: “It’s still really huge its just not an instant game over if you’re stuck, also the explosions slow being scaled with proximity makes so much sense.”
One user even mentioned how the change will benefit competitive Apex: “This has been a big issue in comp. It’s basically a pocket Kraber.”
We’ll have to wait for the update to see just how much this change will affect the Arc Star. For now, check out the most popular Legends in Season 11.
