Apex Legends players have been encountering a frustrating glitch that kept them from receiving the right rewards, and Respawn Entertainment have now responded to the issue.

When the Season 14 update went live in Apex Legends on August 9, it brought a plethora of changes to the battle royale title for players to check out, including the addition of the new Legend Vantage.

However, shortly after the update arrived, there were numerous reports among the Apex Legends community of missing rewards, and now the developers have addressed this strange problem.

Apex Legends players would hop into Season 14 and play through several games in an attempt to level up, but the glitch would prevent them from receiving the correct rewards once they accomplished this.

This caught the attention of Respawn Entertainment who then reassured players that they were investigating the issue before asking players to be patient. Now, they’ve provided another update to the community.

On August 18, they confirmed that they’ve identified the cause of the glitch and are planning to roll out a fix for it. While they didn’t confirm the exact date of this new Apex Legends patch, it’s sometime in the coming week.

It’s reassuring to know that Respawn Entertainment were listening to player feedback and responded to this glitch right away. Hopefully, players will receive the right rewards for leveling up after the patch arrives.

Seasonal updates often feature a few bugs, and this isn’t the only one that players had to deal with in Apex Legends Season 14. Another problematic glitch was giving Legends the wrong powers.
