The Apex Legends Firing Range is the perfect spot to visit if you wish you practice with your Legend or weapon, but players have discovered a startling detail about it.

When you hop into a game of Apex Legends, you should expect intense competition from your opponents, so you will need to make sure that you’re using the right Legend and weapons in battle.

The Firing Range provides a nice quiet spot for you to practice your Legend’s abilities along with different guns without having to worry about interference from enemies. However, players have now come to a creepy realization about this location.

Reddit user ‘Crescent-IV’ pointed out in the Apex Legends subreddit that there was a squad counter in their Firing Range, showing how many other players are actually present even if you can’t see them.

The Redditor claimed that these players are “in different ‘instances’ of your lobby to save server space.” So, while you can’t see or interact with them, they are still there practicing with their Legends and weapons.

This came as a surprise to many of the commenters who were previously unaware that this is how the Apex Legends Firing Range works. Many of them shared stories about the times they caught glimpses of other players that were present in the lobby.

One user wrote: “I remember being scared sh**less when I heard a Gibby ult while I was shooting some dummies for the first time. I thought I accidentally got into a game and was tweaking.”

Another user claimed to have heard Seer scanning the area and brought up another instance of being caught by Crypto’s surveillance drone. They reportedly also saw Newcastle’s abilities despite not playing as the Legend.

They then explained that they thought the game was broken every time this happened before adding that it scared them every time. Many of the other commenters also found this experience creepy.

A few of the commenters found this amusing and made jokes about the phenomena. One user sarcastically stated that while there is a proper explanation for this, they consider the Firing Range to be “haunted.”

Other players joined in on the fun, jokingly telling the user that they might be on to something with their theory and that there might actually be ghosts haunting the Apex Legends Firing Range.

While this may be creepy to some players, it isn’t anything to be concerned about this is a rare occurrence and it’s extremely unlikely that you’ll have to worry about getting killed by invisible players.
