A new Apex Legends leak has revealed a “Ball Game” LTM set on the Titanfall map Colony which shares similarities with the Uplink game mode from the Call of Duty series.

Apex Legends LTMs provide players with a different experience from the battle royale’s normal format, and the Control LTM proved to be so popular that players have been asking the developers for its return.

Now, a new leak has emerged, showcasing a brand-new LTM that might currently be in development for Apex Legends, and it appears to be similar to Call of Duty’s Uplink game mode.

A report from leaker ‘HYPERMYST’ claims that Respawn Entertainment might be working on a unique new LTM for Apex Legends that involves players using a ball to score points on the Colony map from Titanfall.

According to this leak, players will need to collect the ball from the middle of the map and their objective will be to deliver it to specific zones. The opposition can use weapons to steal the ball but the carrier will not have access to any guns.

If this information is accurate, then this game mode has a lot in common with Uplink, which was featured in Call of Duty titles such as Advanced Warfare, Black Ops III, and Infinite Warfare.

In the Uplink game mode, your objective was to bring a satellite drone to the enemy uplink station. The satellite carriers would be granted extra health and faster movement speed but would not be able to use weapons.

It’s worth keeping in mind that Respawn Entertainment have yet to officially confirm this “Ball Game” LTM’s arrival. So, take these leaks with a grain of salt until we get an official announcement verifying this information.

Despite its similarities to Uplink, this still seems like a unique LTM for Apex Legends as Respawn have not added a game mode like this before. Hopefully, we’ll see it arrive in the battle royale title soon.
