The Apex Legends Mobile Closed Beta has been released in multiple regions now, and players love it. We’ve got all the details on Respawn’s mobile version of Apex, from how to register to the Legends and maps to expect.

Apex Legends is in Season 10 for PC and console, but now it seems mobile gamers will also be getting in on the action, with Apex Legends Mobile being set to release this year.

Apex Legends was also released on Nintendo Switch in March 2021, increasing its player count to another platform.

Before the official launch of Apex Legends Mobile, the developers have been rolling out the Closed Beta for specific regions to test the game. Here are all the details so far.

how to register Apex Legends Mobile beta

The first of a series of beta tests for Apex Legends Mobile was released back in April for residents in India to enjoy, allowing some gamers to escape the reality of the COVID crisis for just a few hours.

Mobile gaming is extremely popular in the Asian continent. With India being the second largest country in Asia, it seems the perfect place to test Apex Legends Mobile beta.

EA announced on their website that they would be starting with smaller Closed Beta tests in India and the Philippines. They also said that they would look to expand the beta, adding new regions and iOS support if the tests go well, as currently, the beta is only available for Android.

As of September 2021, the beta is available in five regions, with more set to come very soon. Check out our article on all of the regions the Apex Legends Closed Beta is available in to see if you’re eligible.

For those who want to register for when the beta expands to other regions, you’ll be able to sign up for it on the Google Play Store page, which will inform you when it is available to play in your location.

The Closed Beta is a first-come, first-serve system, meaning the places are limited, so make sure to register if you are interested. They did announce that once the beta is expanded, they will “launch a page that allows you to pre-register for the game and sign up for news about the betas.”

Just like the console and PC versions, Apex Legends Mobile will be free-to-play when it officially releases. Apex Legends Mobile is being developed to be available on various devices and model versions, but the beta is specifically for Androids running the 6.0 version and up.

Another big piece of news from the announcement is that Apex Legends Mobile will not only be a stand-alone game, not featuring cross-platform, but it will also have the option of third-person.

What maps and Legends are available?

Currently, only the World’s Edge map is available for Apex Legends Mobile. However, they mention plans to add more, and some leaks from dataminers have revealed some exciting developments.

It seems Apex Legends Mobile will also be getting the new Arena mode, with exclusive maps just for the mobile version that won’t be seen on the PC and console.

Further, the most recent update to Apex Legends Mobile saw a new 6v6 Team Deathmatch mode on the map Artillery, which may also be coming for console and PC in the future.

Further, the only Legends currently available in the Indian Closed Beta are Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, Bangalore, Caustic, Octane, and Wattson. However, one of the screenshots used for promotion has Revenant in it, so the community suspects more Legends could be added in the future.

Weird Apex Legends glitch spawns unlimited loot for players

A new Apex Legends glitch has been discovered that provides players with unlimited loot from one Loot Bin.

Apex Legends lootbin

An Apex Legends player has discovered a very weird bug that spawns unlimited loot when playing in Season 14.

The Apex Legends developers are constantly looking to improve the player experience by introducing new content and fixing issues the community is experiencing. Just recently, the devs even introduced a quality of life change which made many controller players happy.

Unfortunately, Apex Legends is not immune to bugs and issues, with the launch of Season 14 prompting some new glitches like characters having the wrong abilities and players not receiving rewards for leveling up.

Now, Apex Legends content creator Skeptation has found a new glitch in the Battle Royale which ultimately allows players to exploit Loot Bins to spawn unlimited items.

Skeptation explains how this glitch works in his August 18 YouTube video, stating that when players stand on top of and open a Loot Bin that has a wall behind it, the Loot Bin will close completely after the player has taken the loot inside of it.

If you open the Loot Bin again, it will be completely empty. This is obviously a good trick for covering your tracks and trolling teammates who are looking for loot, however, Skeptation noticed that on some occasions something “weirder” happens.

When messing around with the bug, Skeptation noticed that sometimes the Loot Bin would refresh and spawn more loot after performing the glitch.

Skeptation does say that although he is “not sure what triggers it,” if someone is able to figure out how to do it consistently it would be “broken.”

If this becomes a major issue and players are attempting and being successful with this unlimited loot glitch, perhaps it will provoke Respawn to come up with a fix.

Apex Legends fans come to creepy realization about the Firing Range

Apex Legends players have discovered a detail about the in-game Firing Range that led them to a creepy realization.

Apex Legends firing range

The Apex Legends Firing Range is the perfect spot to visit if you wish you practice with your Legend or weapon, but players have discovered a startling detail about it.

When you hop into a game of Apex Legends, you should expect intense competition from your opponents, so you will need to make sure that you’re using the right Legend and weapons in battle.

The Firing Range provides a nice quiet spot for you to practice your Legend’s abilities along with different guns without having to worry about interference from enemies. However, players have now come to a creepy realization about this location.

Reddit user ‘Crescent-IV’ pointed out in the Apex Legends subreddit that there was a squad counter in their Firing Range, showing how many other players are actually present even if you can’t see them.

The Redditor claimed that these players are “in different ‘instances’ of your lobby to save server space.” So, while you can’t see or interact with them, they are still there practicing with their Legends and weapons.

This came as a surprise to many of the commenters who were previously unaware that this is how the Apex Legends Firing Range works. Many of them shared stories about the times they caught glimpses of other players that were present in the lobby.

One user wrote: “I remember being scared sh**less when I heard a Gibby ult while I was shooting some dummies for the first time. I thought I accidentally got into a game and was tweaking.”

Another user claimed to have heard Seer scanning the area and brought up another instance of being caught by Crypto’s surveillance drone. They reportedly also saw Newcastle’s abilities despite not playing as the Legend.

They then explained that they thought the game was broken every time this happened before adding that it scared them every time. Many of the other commenters also found this experience creepy.

A few of the commenters found this amusing and made jokes about the phenomena. One user sarcastically stated that while there is a proper explanation for this, they consider the Firing Range to be “haunted.”

Other players joined in on the fun, jokingly telling the user that they might be on to something with their theory and that there might actually be ghosts haunting the Apex Legends Firing Range.

While this may be creepy to some players, it isn’t anything to be concerned about this is a rare occurrence and it’s extremely unlikely that you’ll have to worry about getting killed by invisible players.

Apex Legends players sick of “annoying” voice lines and call for change

The Apex Legends characters often express themselves in-game with voice lines, but some players are beginning to dislike the feature.

vantage and echo from apex legends

Apex Legends players have expressed their disdain for “annoying” Legend voice lines in Season 14, calling for the devs to make a change.

Apex Legends Season 14 has got off to a flying start, bringing excitement back to the community with more people playing the game than ever.

With that said, not everything is sunshine and daisies, as not only has Apex pro ImperialHal expressed his dislike of the brand-new Season 14 Legend, Vantage, but now players are also complaining about the Ranked mode.

While it may not seem like a big deal, there have been complaints among the community about Vantage’s quips and Legend voice lines in general, with some branding them as “annoying.”

Reddit user Stir_Fry posted to the Apex Legends subreddit asking the devs if they could “dial it down on the voice lines.”

When talking about the Season 14 Legend Vantage, the OP says that Vantage is more “annoying” than Valkyrie, due to her “constant voice spam” while hitting shots with her Sniper.

The player says that they do not want to hear the “same echo location joke every time (Vantage) uses her tactical.”

Voice lines and quips are essential for character design as they portray the Legend’s personality and individualism from the rest of the roster. Each Legend has a distinctive voice and personality which is easy to recognize, but some feel it is too much.

They explain that the game already has “audio issues,” and with the number of voice lines in the game, it can be distracting “especially in ranked where I’m trying to listen to hear the 4th party coming to kill me.”

The player feels as if the devs should “lower the amount” of voice lines or provide an option to “turn them off completely in the settings.”

Others in the community seem to agree, with 2.5k upvotes and sarcastic comments like “every time I use my Q on vantage I just have to slap my knee, that joke gets even funnier the 80th time she says it in that game.”

Hopefully, Respawn addresses this either in a future update or when creating new characters. Speaking of new Legends, some data miners believe they may have found who the Apex Legends Season 15 Legend will be.
