Apex Legends Mobile Season 2 is looking to bring some exciting new content for players after a successful launch.

While some may still be getting to grips with the mobile-exclusive Legend Fade, a new Legend will be arriving in Season 2, and some may already know who it is thanks to an in-game event and teaser.

New Legend: Loba

Apex Legends Mobile Season 2 will see the release of Loba, a Legend taken from the PC and console versions of the game.

Loba brings a unique support role to the Legend roster, offering a playstyle that revolves around loot. For more information on the new Apex Legends Mobile Season 2 Legend, check out our guide on Loba, including her abilities and more.

Town Takeover: The Climatizer

The brand-new season of Apex Mobile also brings some changes to World’s Edge, as the EA blog states that the map has been taken over by “Winter Warfare.”

Now, starting in Apex Legends Mobile Season 2, the Climatizer on World’s Edge will “turn off and on during the course of a match covering parts of World’s Edge with snow!”

Further, when the Climatizer is on and spreading snow everywhere, “check your map for Frosted loot boxes,” which will give players “frosty rewards,” like the new ice grenade that freezes enemies. Players will also be able to collect Diamonds from frozen loot boxes and enemy death boxes to spend in the seasonal shop.

New Limited Time Mode

While some leaks and rumors are suggesting its return in the PC and consoles version of Apex Legends, the Armed and Dangerous LTM will be arriving for Apex Legends Mobile Season 2.

This LTM is Shotguns and Snipers only, so make sure you hit your shots as every bullet counts.

New Battle Pass

Of course, a new season brings a brand-new Battle Pass. The Cold Snap Battle Pass will bring 50 new tiers of rewards, as well as some changes.

First of all, the devs are showing their gratitude by awarding players who purchased the Prime Time Premium or Premium Plus Battle Pass with the following rewards:

  • 50 Syndicate Gold
  • 1 Syndicate Pack

These rewards can be found in the in-game mailbox.

The devs also mention that “800 Syndicate Gold will be provided with the completion of the Cold Snap Premium or Premium Plus Battle Pass.”

Bug Fixes and Improvements

The update also brings various bug fixes and improvements:

  • Optimized Wraith’s base visuals
  • Fixed an issue where players were unable to adjust the auto ammo pickup settings for the Peacekeeper
  • Adjusted several replicator spawn locations
  • Fixed several spots on worlds edge where players would get stuck or blocked on the terrain.
  • Fixed an issue where Mirage players would experience lag when taking out a weapon after activating their ultimate ability.
  • Fixed the slow down effect of Fade’s ultimate ability if he left the game
  • Fixed Octanes Incorrect VO callouts when using his jump pad

That’s all for the Apex Legends Mobile Season 2 patch notes. For more, check out if you can use a controller to play Apex on Mobile.
