Apex Legends players are getting used to the Rampage not being in the loot pool, so much so that some are even enjoying the game more.

Since its temporary removal, Apex Legends players seem to be enjoying life without the Rampage.

Apex Legends hasn’t seen many changes since the start of Season 11. Apart from the recent Dark Depths event, which is basically just a sale, players have been awaiting new content such as LTMs for some time now.

Having said that, due to an exploit, both the Sentinel and Rampage were taken out of the game’s loot pool and it seems some players are enjoying the temporary change quite a lot.

Recently, players have been finding all sorts of tricks and exploits in Apex Legends. One of the biggest exploits that really affected the player experience was the Sentinel and Rampage infinite charge-up.

This exploit basically allowed players to keep both the weapons in their charged state for as long as the player wanted, which is of course extremely powerful. The devs responded fairly quickly by taking the weapons out of the loot pool across the game’s modes temporarily.

For some, this change has been enjoyed more than perhaps the devs expected, especially when it comes to the Rampage as this weapon is very powerful even without being charged up.

Reddit user Hartley672 put up a post with an image of a poll that asked the question “Is apex more enjoyable without the rampage?”

As you can see 40,000 people participated in the poll and 69% voted “yes.” Further, the Redditor who posted the poll also agrees with the majority and their post also has over 9,000 upvotes, showing just how many players are enjoying the game without the Rampage.

One comment under the post even stated: “I didn’t even realize they took the rampage out.”

Despite the poll showing a majority of players enjoying the game without the weapon, there is one group of players in particular that are missing the weapon. Rampart’s main passive is that she can hold more bullets in a magazine for LMGs and also reload them faster.

Rampart mains are the ones who are feeling the negative impact of the Rampage’s removal, with one user commenting: “I’m sad because as a rampart main I enjoy having a decent lmg.”

We’re sure the Rampage and Sentinel will be returning once a fix has been established by Respawn, even if the majority are enjoying life without it. For more, check out the leaked details for the Apex Legends Season 12 Collection Event.

Who developed Apex Legends battle royale

Apex Legends has gained a lot of popularity over the last year, and with new players getting to grips with the game every day, some may be wondering who the developers are.

Apex Legends is about to enter Season 12, with the game releasing way back in February 2019.

With the recent news regarding Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision, players may be wondering what it means for their favorite games, like Call of Duty and Apex Legends.

As well as this, some players may just want to know the identity of the developers who own Apex Legends, as new players are joining every day. Luckily, we have the answer covered for you.

Who owns Apex Legends?

Apex Legends is developed by Respawn Entertainment, a development studio under EA founded by Jason West and Vince Zampella, who originally co-founded Infinity Ward, the development studio behind multiple Call of Duty games, with its latest being Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019).

Ultimately, Respawn Entertainment have no affiliation with Activision, and so the recent Microsoft deal doesn’t affect the ownership of the game at all.

Respawn Entertainment is also the studio behind the Titanfall franchise, which is very closely connected to Apex Legends, as the battle royale game takes place in the Titanfall universe.

Further, Respawn isn’t just known for creating FPS games, but the development studio also created Star Wars: Fallen Order, a story game held in high regard.

Apex Legends is constantly being updated with fresh content for players keeping the game fun and drawing new players in, which is a testimony to how hard the team at Respawn Entertainment work.

With four battle royale maps, 19 Legends, exclusive maps for the Arenas mode, and a consistent flow of cosmetics, Apex Legends offers loads for players, and Respawn Entertainment is the team behind it all.

Apex Legends players call for major nerf to Valkyrie’s ultimate

Apex Legends players are calling for a major nerf to Valkyrie’s ultimate Skyward Dive ability, claiming its Scanning is too powerful..

Valkyrie in Apex Legends

Valkyrie’s ultimate ability Skydive lets her launch 180m into the air, allowing for easy rotations. Now, Apex Legends players are calling for this ability to be nerfed, claiming the scanning portion of this ability is too powerful.

Apex Legends features 19 different characters to choose from, all of whom come with their own unique set of skills. One popular Legend is Valkyrie, who is able to soar through the sky during battles.

She is one of the most-picked Legends in Season 11. Now, Season 12 is approaching fast and players are asking for Respawn Entertainment to nerf to her famous Skyward Dive ability.

Valkyrie's VTOL jets

Valkyrie’s Skyward Dive ability in Apex Legends lets the character and her teammates soar across the map while scanning for players on the ground. This informs them whether or not it’s safe to land in that area.

At the time of writing, this is one of the only scanning abilities in the game that doesn’t provide notifications to opponents who have been caught in it. This has caused many players to call for a change.

Reddit user ‘3KeyReasons’ brought up this issue in the Apex Legends subreddit. They suggested that Respawn add a “Skydive Detected” notification that will warn you about Valkyrie’s ultimate.

One user brought up that Valkyrie’s ultimate needs a line of sight to scan players, but they agreed with the Redditor’s suggestion: “This feature would be better. It would at least make us aware that a 3rd party is jumping on our heads.”

This change would certainly make it much easier to stay out of the way of Valkyrie’s Skyward Dive ability. Currently, it’s unknown whether or not Respawn will choose to implement this feature in the game.

Season 11 of Apex Legends has tons of characters to choose from to enjoy its several maps. But who has the top Season 11 pick rates in Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale shooter?

Apex Legends hit the ground running when it launched with eight different characters to choose from in its battle royale offering. The game suffered a notable lull when Call of Duty: Warzone launched, but with many players jumping ship to Respawn’s game in Season 10, Apex Legends Season 11 has benefited from continued support from gamers and streamers alike.

There are now a whopping 19 different Legends to choose from, giving players a headache before each game. The newest one is Ash, she debuted alongside the new Storm Point map.

Between the Arenas mode and Ranked Leagues to compete in, thousands of matches have already been logged in Season 11, and we will break down and find the Legends with the highest pick rates in Season 11.

5. Valkyrie – 7.5%

valkyrie apex legends

With Ash being knocked out of the top 5 most picked Legends since her release at the start of Season 11, Valkyrie has officially taken her spot with a 7.5% pick rate.

Valkyrie is great in Season 11, with unbelievable mobility thanks to her passive Jet Pack. This allows her to reposition and get in and out of situations with ease, arguably having the best potential to survive out of all Legends due to great mobility.

Valkyrie’s Ultimate is great for maps like Storm Point, as there are no Jump Towers and so her Skyward Dive offers useful rotations. Her Ultimate is great for getting the team into a spot for final circles, as you’ll be able to fly above and past enemy teams rotating into the zone.

4. Pathfinder – 8.6%

Pathfinder has consistently been one of Apex Legends’ top five picks at 8.6%, and counting, for quite some time now.

As a Recon class, Pathfinder simply excels in movements and traversing the game’s various maps. His Grappling Hook and Zipline Gun are simply invaluable assets that will help any team in a pinch – either because of the circle or a third-party situation. He consistently manages to stay in the top 5 as a result.

3. Bloodhound – 9.6%

apex legends bloodhound character

Again, with the influx of new Apex Legends players, Bloodhound is a great character to use for new players in Season 11.

Bloodhound nearly always stays in and around the 8-11% mark as a season goes on, and they currently stand at 9.6%. They are easily the top Recon class to use in Apex Legends, thanks to their tracking tools and incredible skills, plus, their Beast of the Hunt Ultimate is priceless.

2. Octane – 12.4%

apex legends octane character

With a 12.4% pick rate, the speed demon takes the number two spot, continuing his reign as one of the most popular Legends in Season 11, fluctuating between the top two places.

Aside from his amusing quips, he is the perfect balance of offense and defense. Despite being regarded as an offensive Legend, Octane can greatly increase his sprint speed which is useful for both attack and running away.

But most Octane users thrive on his Launch Pad Ultimate which can send him, and friendly players, high up into the air.

1. Wraith – 12.9% Most picked Legend in Apex Legends Season 11

apex legends wraith character

Another starting Legend, Wraith has been a consistent pick throughout Apex Legends’ lifetime, and she has taken the number one spot with a whopping 12.6% pick rate in Season 11.

Wraith’s stand-out features are her ability to get out of trouble very quickly – teammates included. Her abilities allow her to sense danger, become temporarily invulnerable, and create portals to escape predicaments. It’s easy to see why Wraith continues to be an absolute fan-favorite in Apex Legends Season 11.

That covers all the picks in Apex Legends Season 11. As always, buffs and nerfs will come and go throughout the season, altering the game’s meta, and subsequently, Legend pick rates.

We’ll be sure to keep this updated regularly so you can stay on top of the in picks and don’t forget to check out leaks for the Apex Legends Season 12 collection event.
