Some Apex Legends players discovered a hilarious bug within Season 9: Legacy, which allows them to move around while performing the new standing emotes.

Apex Legends Season 9: Legacy has been a great success so far, introducing a huge amount of content to the game, with some implementations much bigger than others in the patch notes.

The bigger implementations include Arenas, Valkyrie, Infested Olympus, and the Bocek Bow, while some of the smaller ones include quality-of-life changes and the new standing emotes. However, it seems the smaller implementation of emotes is causing more problems than Respawn Entertainment expected.

This season saw Apex Legends add the new standing emotes to the game, introducing a new way for players to express themselves. These new emotes include some interesting animations, some of which are more eccentric than others.

It seems the devs did take some precautions for the emotes, making sure players weren’t going to exploit them by implementing an anti-peek system that prevents players from seeing enemies while in the third-person emote.

However, as always, players have found a way to exploit the emotes, activating them at a particular time while sliding down a hill to emote while keeping the momentum.

Although there isn’t much, you can do while emoting. It’s still hilarious and funny to watch your teammate emote down a hill while evading bullets.

There is no doubt that the community’s most talented players will be able to use this bug to create some entertaining highlights before it is fixed by Respawn Entertainment in the future.

Of course, this is a bug and should not be in the game. Clearly, Respawn overlooked this and will most likely be fixed in the future, but for now, enjoy rolling down the hill while Octane goes crazy on the jump pad.

Causting and Wraith in Apex Legends

Apex Legends players have been encountering a frustrating glitch that kept them from receiving the right rewards, and Respawn Entertainment have now responded to the issue.

When the Season 14 update went live in Apex Legends on August 9, it brought a plethora of changes to the battle royale title for players to check out, including the addition of the new Legend Vantage.

However, shortly after the update arrived, there were numerous reports among the Apex Legends community of missing rewards, and now the developers have addressed this strange problem.

Apex Legends players would hop into Season 14 and play through several games in an attempt to level up, but the glitch would prevent them from receiving the correct rewards once they accomplished this.

This caught the attention of Respawn Entertainment who then reassured players that they were investigating the issue before asking players to be patient. Now, they’ve provided another update to the community.

On August 18, they confirmed that they’ve identified the cause of the glitch and are planning to roll out a fix for it. While they didn’t confirm the exact date of this new Apex Legends patch, it’s sometime in the coming week.

It’s reassuring to know that Respawn Entertainment were listening to player feedback and responded to this glitch right away. Hopefully, players will receive the right rewards for leveling up after the patch arrives.

Seasonal updates often feature a few bugs, and this isn’t the only one that players had to deal with in Apex Legends Season 14. Another problematic glitch was giving Legends the wrong powers.

Apex Legends players slam “trash” Ranked system and matchmaking issues

Apex Legends players have called out the game’s “trash” Ranked mode, arguing that the matchmaking is ruining their experience.

Apex Legends players have called out the game’s Ranked matchmaking, claiming it’s placing them in unfair matches against opponents well out of their league.

Apex Legends Season 14 has been well received by the community, with the new character Vantage and other quality of life changes bringing the feel-good factor back to the battle royale.

Unfortunately, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing, and fans have been quick to point out a number of issues in the new season. Wattson’s fence is still broken despite the fix that was supposed to come in Season 14, while the Battle Pass has also come under fire.

Now, although Respawn did make some welcome changes, players have slammed Apex Legends’ Ranked mode for putting together lobbies with a huge skill gap.

Reddit user Azrael462 started a thread criticizing the state of matchmaking in Apex Ranked, arguing the wide range of ranks that can make up a single lobby make it less enjoyable for those in lower brackets.

“If I am in gold I should be fighting gold people, NOT F*****G PREDS OR MASTERS,” the user ranted. “You can actually say it’s a skill issue here because clearly it is, gold is the third rank below masters and fourth below pred, now fix your f*****g system.”

Apex Legends Ranked mode, like most similar modes, is supposed to work on skill-based matchmaking, where only players of a similar rank are put together to make for an even fight. However, players are noticing that this doesn’t seem to be the case.

The OP seemed to point the blame at streamers, as they felt that the current matchmaking system was designed to give full-time players in higher ranks more chance of finding a lobby, rather than being lumped together in every match.

“I’m tired of getting 1k damage and 3 kills only to still lose 30 RP because OF A F*****G PREDATOR STREAMER,” the Redditor continued. “Listen to the community and not the streamers because clearly they don’t know a f*****g thing.”

Other comments seemed to agree that Ranked mode is becoming more punishing, especially if you happen to be in the Bronze, Silver, or Gold tiers. “Never seen a game with worse matchmaking IMO,” argued one reply. “No other game made me feel so fucking helpless like apex did, not even League [of Legends],” said another.

This has been an ongoing frustration among the Apex community, and players will be hoping to see Ranked mode’s matchmaking given some tweaks during Season 14 or in the Season 15 update.

Apex Legends leakers discover Season 15 Legend in game files

Apex Legends leaks have discovered a brand-new character name in the Season 14 game files, which could be the Season 15 Legend.

An Apex Legends leak may have possibly revealed the name of the Season 15 Legend, which some will remember from a previous huge Legend leak.

Apex Legends Season 14 has just got underway, giving players a brand-new Legend to enjoy, which pro player ImperialHal has some strong opinions about.

A new season of Apex doesn’t just mean a new Battle Pass, Collection Event, and buffs and nerfs in the patch notes, it also means that dataminers have a new game version to sift through and find unreleased information.

As always, these leakers have found new information on Apex Legends Season 15, including who the new Legend could be.

In a YouTube video from Apex Legends content creator bobz, it’s highlighted that dataminers have found a Holospray in the Season 14 game files that has Catalyst in the code: “hspray_epic_v22_catalyst_01.”

Back in Apex Legends Season 12, there was a massive leak that revealed a variety of unreleased Legends. At the time, Legends like Newcastle and Vantage were discovered, giving legitimacy to the leak as these Legends are now available.

In this leak there was also a Legend called Catalyst, who can reinforce cover and create structures with “ferro fluid.”

The fact that this name has popped up in the Season 14 game files as well further suggests that Catalyst will be seen in Apex Legends, and it could even be for Season 15.

It’s obviously a long way out until Season 15, and these are just leaks, so take them with a pinch of salt. However, it would make sense to see Catalyst in Season 15 considering the devs have added a Holospray with the character’s name.
