Apex Legends players have begun killing their teammates and ruining matches for others so that they can complete the new Bloodhound Chronicles event quickly.
Bloodhound was given all-new quests and rewards that players could complete.
While the fans are enjoying this new addition to the battle royale, some players have started ruining the fun for others by sabotaging their teammates in an effort to complete the event faster.
The Chronicle event requires Bloodhound players to land on the Worlds Edge map to complete quests. However, some players are landing elsewhere and then leaving the map after realizing the mistake.
Jumpmasters are also doing this, which causes their entire squad to get killed. This is what happened to Redditor FacchiniBR when they decided to join a Kings Canyon match.
The Bloodhound in their team decided to kill him and the other squad member to get into a new match to complete the event instead of playing out the match they were already playing.
This is a result of Apex Legends players not correctly checking the current map on rotation. Now, their immediate solution is to eliminate their teammates and themselves to speed things up.
It remains to be seen whether or not Respawn will do something about this. Introducing a no-fill feature on the menu would stop players from being put with teammates who could potentially sabotage their matches.
Whatever solutions could be implemented to stop this frustrating issue, there is no doubt that the Apex Legends community is hoping something can be done to prevent players from ruining the matches for others during this new event for the battle royale game.

Apex Legends Season 11: Guide to Storm Point’s Wildlife
The Apex Legends Season 11 Storm Point map will feature new Wildlife never seen before in the battle royale, but how does it actually work?
Apex Legends’ new Storm Point map is set to be introduced in Season 11, bringing a new Wildlife system to the battle royale. Here’s how the critters will aid you in battle.
Respawn Entertainment gave us a great look at Storm Point in their recent blog, showing off all the POIs the map has to offer. As well as that, the developers also gave us details on how the Wildlife will work on Storm Point, so here’s everything you need to know.
What is Apex Legends storm Point Wildlife?
Although we’ve seen Wildlife in Apex Legends before, such as the Flyers on Kings Canyon and the Prowlers on World’s Edge, Storm Point is set to take Wildlife to another level.
The Wildlife will be everywhere on Storm Point, so for those interested in the way it will work and also how it can benefit you and the team, here’s all you need to know.
There will be loads of Wildlife on Storm Point, all of which will be located in different areas. Some animals players will be familiar with, others are completely new to the game.
The Wildlife will include:
Each of these critters will have their own designated locations, which they will not be able to escape from. Since the official map was revealed by Principal Level Designer Rodney Reece on Twitter, we finally got a better understanding of where the Wildlife will be situated on the map.
Prowlers will work similarly to how they have in the past, except this time they will spawn out of their mud mounds and attack players in packs who enter their territory. Their health is similar to what it is on World’s Edge and players will need to eliminate them all as they spawn to reap the rewards.
The Spiders are said to have less health than the Prowlers, but are much faster and also hatch out of eggs as players enter their camp. Spiders have ranged attacks, so they will be more of an annoyance from far rather than being up in your face.
The Flyers will also work similarly to how we’ve seen them before, as players will need to look to the skies and take them out to gain the rewards from them. Flyers are spawned individually across the map and their positions are randomly selected from a predetermined list of possible spawn locations each match.
Lastly, we have the Goliath, which hasn’t been officially revealed but according to leaks it will feature in the map on launch. This is a huge beast that players will need to take down, it will have a bunch of health and potentially do a lot of damage to players. However, the rewards will no doubt be worth it.
The Goliath will also have its own camp, but unlike the Spiders and Prowlers, the Goliath only has one spawn location.
Storm Point Wildlife rewards
Wildlife Nests are denoted by the red markers on your minimap. All nests are static and finite, meaning every match they are always in the same place, with the same type of wildlife and only small variations in their numbers.
Wildlife respect their Nests’ boundaries and are aggressive only to trespassers that enter into their domain. Once a Wildlife Nest is cleared, it is removed from the map and your squad can reap the rewards.
Now a bit more on the types of rewards you’ll gain from battling the fauna of Storm Point:
- Smart Loot Drops: On death, Prowlers and Spiders have a chance to drop attachments and ammo for your squad based on your weapon loadouts, in addition to a few consumables and other goodies.
- EVO Points: A small percentage of all damage dealt to wildlife is rewarded towards your EVO Armor. This includes Flyers
- Crafting Materials: Clearing a Nest rewards a lump of crafting materials which are divided evenly among each squad member in the nest at time of completion.
So, as you can see, the Wildlife in Storm Point will be vital for teams in order to get the best loot and also evolve their shields. Further, for those teams who may have had an awkward start to the game and weren’t able to get the best loot, these camps will definitely help out.

Apex Legends Shadow Royale: Start date, how to play, rewards & challenges
The Apex Legends LTM Shadow Royale is available for players during the Monsters Within Event. Here are all the details about the mode.
Apex Legends Shadow Royale is available during the new Halloween-themed event, Monsters Within. Here’s everything there is to know, including the start date, how to play, and challenges.
Although the Monsters Within Event dropped October 12, Apex Legends Shadow Royale has only just become available, but only for a limited time.
Many are wondering how it works, and what kind of challenges to expect for it, so here’s everything you need to know.
Apex Legends Shadow Royale start date
The Apex Legends Shadow Royale LTM will officially go live in the final week of the Monsters Within Event on October 26.
As the event ends on November 2, we expect this to be the end of the Shadow Royale LTM.
How to play Shadow Royale
Hosted by Revenant, Shadow Royale will be available to all players as an LTM. You will be able to select the mode on the lobby screen the same way you can change between Battle Royale and Arenas.
The mode is simple, players will drop into a map just like any other trios game, except when a player is eliminated, they return in “Shadow Form” to protect their squad.
In Shadow Form, players have enhanced movement capabilities similar to the Titanfall games, such as faster running, wall-running, and double jumping. When you are in Shadow Form, the goal is to try your best to protect your teammates from other enemy squads and shadows.
While you are a shadow, you only have a melee attack, so make the most of your enhanced movement speed and unlimited lives to overwhelm enemy teams. You will be eliminated from the game if all members of the squad become shadows. The last squad left alive with a living member/members will take victory in this mode.
Shadow Royale challenges
Now Shadow Royale has officially launched, players will have access to new challenges, some of which will be based around the LTM, and a new Reward Tracker that features a Loba skin and Charm.

Apex Legends Storm Point guide: Every POI on new Season 11 map
Season 11 introduces a brand new Apex Legends map called Storm Point, and for those wondering what it will look like, here’s all the POIs.
Respawn Entertainment officially revealed gameplay for their new Apex Legends Storm Point map arriving in Season 11, here’s every single POI the map will contain.
The most recent gameplay reveal showed off the brand new Apex Legends Storm Point map, which brings a tropical setting to the combat. Although there have been some concerns, overall players have been lifting wanting to see more, as the map does look beautiful.
With that being said, here are the names and some images of every single POI on Storm Point.
Apex Legends Storm Point map POIs
As well as bringing an abundance of wildlife, Storm Point also has a lot of variety in terms of terrain and named locations.
The latest EA blog post on the Apex Legends Storm Point map did also indicate that the map has a load of unnamed locations across the tropical island, some of which have more than enough loot for you and the team.
However, one thing is for sure, players will want to land at some of the more prominent named POIs to secure and guarantee themselves the best loot, so here are all the locations you’ll be diving into.
The Barometer is the heart of Storm Point. A spinning platform with a honeypot of loot is overlooked by a research tower that gives a height advantage but is challenging to defend against attackers.
It looks like Barometer will be on the southern side of the map, being surrounded by shallow waters. Further, Barometer will have three Gravity Cannons, which are replacing “nearly all the redeploy balloons.”
Built inside of the mountain, the Command Center is a massive complex that’s rich in loot and which allows players to dive into its heart from the dropship.
It is also an excellent method for getting to the top of the mountain while protected by using a network of the longest ziplines in the Apex Games to date.
The Antenna is a drop location divided by a network of catwalks positioned above a massive communications dish. Make your way across these catwalks or slide to the bottom of the Antenna to zipline your way up to the center.
Suspended over a dense forest, Checkpoint allows you to disengage from an intense fight in new ways. If you are overwhelmed, jump off the platform in the forest below to change the engagement.
Highpoint is the home to the only redeploy balloon on the map, sits at the top of the longest hill, and is a vital chokepoint to the top of the mountain. In a standoff look around, you may discover hidden tunnels that allow you to flake around it.
As Storm Point acts as one huge mountain, with the map declining towards the beach, Highpoint could be very advantageous as an initial drop, especially as it has the only redeploy beacon on the map.
Lightning Rod is a landing position located at the pinnacle of the mountain and is divided into two halves by a focused and intense bridge. The station’s top is the highest position on the map and is a crucial stronghold if the ring ends there.
Suspended over a large area, Storm Catcher is an interior location with a focus on close-quarter combat. Position yourself on its exterior balconies to open up long-range combat against strong, defendable bases on either of its sides.
This location looks great, but also could be a bit of a nightmare when players are rotating towards the circle, as it’s situated in between a choke point.
The North Pad is a launch site that contains a network of protected trenches that allow safe passage over a wide range of rolling hills. Separating these trenches are underground bunkers and small watchpoints with loot.
Be careful though, as the location is close to Checkpoint and overlooked by The Wall, so watch out for teams trying to shoot down on you.
Located at the farthest western position, the Mill’s circular interior space contains high-value loot and the entryway towards the center river.
Although it doesn’t look like much, this location could be great for those teams that like landing on the edge, collecting their loot, and then walking into the more dense areas of the map.
The remnants of the original survivors of Storm Point, Shipfall, is all that remains of the doomed vessel. Eroded over decades, the engine section is still intact and is a stronghold if you can fight your way through it.
A secure network of coral reef caves, the Cenote is the most isolated section of the map and is filled with valuable loot and power positions. Located at the southernmost western corner, it is also a critical path between the Barometer and the entire western half of the island.
This could be a very popular landing spot, especially considering it’s mostly isolated, with the opportunity for fights without worrying about a third party pulling up.
The great divider between the northern beach and the mountain, the Wall is a critical landing spot for those who seek combat—it acts as the chokepoint between two significant sections of the map.

Although there is no official image of this location, it can be seen throughout the trailer, standing tall in the background.
A gateway to the top of the mountain, its interior is a tightly focused close-quarter combat area with a Gravity Cannon that allows for quick access from the bottom of the mountain and a quick escape, if needed.
A dense cluster of buildings placed near the waterfall, Cascade Falls acts as a focal point of the map due to its proximity to the map’s center, making it the most traveled point of interest. Take that into account before deciding to land there on the initial drop.
This could be a busy drop, and although there isn’t an official image, we suspect this screenshot from the gameplay trailer is the POI in action.
The Launch Site sits in an alcove at the river’s end and is a large area identified by two distinct landing zones: the outstretched landing pad and the control building. Try landing on one of its three distinctive outstretched pads and loot your way towards the control building.
A chain of islands separated by open water, the Fish Farms is a large area with a clean separation between the lootable buildings.
Cross the open water cautiously, or use the Trident to hover along the waterways.
A sibling landing location to the Fish Farms, Gale Station acts as a divider between the island’s center and the southern section. What it lacks in loot quantity makes up for loot quality and its power position over the Fish Farms.
In the final scene of the trailer, the camera pans over Fish Farm and Gale Station, showing both locations. Gale Station seems to have these blue towers that act as sort of gales in the wind. The location is close to Fish Farm and may even have some height over the POI.
Well there you have it, that’s every POI on the new Apex Legends Storm Point map releasing in Season 11: Escape. Make sure you check out how to check the ALGS standings for more Apex Legends content.
