Apex Legends players spot new transport system in leaked Divided Moon map
Eagle-eyed Apex Legends players have discovered a new transport system in the leaked images of the ‘Divided Moon’ map that’s rumored for Season 15.
Apex Legends has featured four different Battle Royale maps for players to battle on since it first launched, and leaks suggest that Season 15 will add a new one named Divided Moon.
Players got a look at the unfinished version of this location through a gameplay leak which caused mass speculation. Now, the Apex Legends community have spotted a transport system that might be on the map.
Reddit user ‘shocker_103’ shared an image of the unfinished Divided Moon map and highlighted what appears to be a track for some form of transportation. It features curves and goes towards the nearby hills
The Redditor claimed that this new system will be “similar to Gondolas” which are moving platforms that players can board at certain POIs on World’s Edge. These move at a moderate speed across the map.
Many commmenters had their own theories about what this new transport system could be, with a few players suggesting that Divided Moon will feature a train similar to the old one on World’s Edge.
Redditor ‘raidenderdaweilt’ stated that they’re hoping this is the case, otherwise they would also be satisfied if Respawn add a zipline that you can use to get around the map quickly.
A few users claimed that the reason for the train’s removal from World’s Edge was that it required too much open clear space for the tracks. However, this doesn’t seem to be a problem in this leaked map because of the elevated position of the tracks.
One player explained: “This is basically Respawn adding the trains without the problems that defy their design. They originally removed them due to lack of cover but nice to know they are solving problems instead of removing them.”
However, it’s worth keeping in mind that this is all speculation based on leaks, and there’s no way to know for certain if this will actually be included in the game. We’ll need to wait for an official announcement from Respawn to be sure.
