Apex Legends Season 10 Ranked updates: Arenas, map rotation, split dates, & rewards
Apex Legends Season 10: Emergence is almost here, which also means an update for Ranked Leagues, so let’s get into the details.
Apex Legends Ranked Leagues is an excellent place for those who want to test their skills out and play for points in a competitive environment, which, starting in Season 10, will also be available in Arenas.
No matter how good you are, Apex Legends has a detailed ranking system that will place you on a similar playing field once you play enough games. With Season 10 incoming, let’s check out the updates arriving for the ranked playlist.
Although there are no significant changes for Ranked Leagues this season, there are still a few things to go over, such as split dates, rewards, and map rotation.
Split dates
As Apex Legends Season 10 begins on August 3, this would then mean that the first ranked split will also start on the same day, with the second split coming halfway through the season.
Due to the recent server issues in Apex Legends, Respawn has decided to extend the first split by one week, meaning the first split now ends on September 28.
With that being said, this means that the second split will also start on September 28, ending when the season finishes. This means that players will lose one week from the second split, so hopefully, there aren’t further server issues.
Map rotation
Every new season two maps get picked for Ranked Leagues, one which spans the first split and another that spans the second.
For Season 10, players will be dropping into Decimated World’s Edge, which has been showcased in the trailers leading up to Season 10’s release.
In the second split, players will be back on Kings Canyon, or at least the Season 8 version of Kings Canyon, with all the most recently made changes to it.
Season 10 rewards
Depending on what level you managed to reach in Ranked Leagues for Season 9, players will receive rewards at the start of Season 10.
The rewards include gun charms, badges, season-long dive trails for those who manage to reach the higher ranks, and new this season, Holo Sprays.
The rewards for Season 9’s Ranked Leagues have been revealed by EA, showing off the badges and dive trails players will receive.
Ranked Arenas
Season 10 will also mark the first season of Ranked Arenas, which Respawn released details about fairly recently.
3 new BR maps will join Phase Runner, Party Crasher, and Overflow, with one of them joining the trio and rotating with each other every two weeks. The new maps include:
- King’s Canyon – Hillside
- World’s Edge – Dome
- Olympus – Oasis
As well as new maps, Ranked Arenas will also feature new maps and an exclusive ranking system.
Although not much has been shared about how ranking will work in Arenas, we suspect the names and ranks will be the same. However, how you receive points and the number of points you need to rank up will differ from Battle Royale mode.
That’s all for the ranked playlist in Apex Legends Season 10. For more updates, stay tuned on Charlie INTEL, and if you’ve been a victim of the recent unfair banning, check out our article for an explanation.
