Apex Legends Season 11 will bring a brand new map, Storm Point, which will feature an abundance of wildlife for players to interact with.

The new Apex Legends Season 11 Storm Point map will supposedly contain an abundance of wildlife that players will be able to interact with.

Apex Legends Season 11 isn’t far off for players now, as Respawn has officially revealed the new season through two recent trailers.

The launch trailer for Season 11: Escape even showed off the new Storm Point map, as well as Legend Ash.

The trailer featured a variety of wildlife, from things we’ve seen in the past like Flyers and Prowlers, to new animals we’ve never encountered.

This isn’t the first time a map will feature wildlife, as we’ve seen Prowlers on World’s Edge and Flyers on Kings Canyon.

Having said that, some of the leaks reported by Thordan Smash surrounding the wildlife on Storm Point suggest that the new Season 11 map will have way more variety of these animals, as well as perhaps deeper interaction with them.

Prowlers

Prowlers aren’t new to Apex Legends, however, Storm Point may feature a more tropical version of the creature.

In the video, Thordan states that Prowlers will have their designated area, and will not be free to roam the map. This will most likely be similar to Trials on World’s Edge, where players fight off Prowlers for rewards.

Spiders

Although it was quite unexpected, the new launch trailer also showed off some new wildlife we haven’t seen before, spiders. For those with arachnophobia, you may not like this, but there will also be a portion of the map in Storm Point where spiders will spawn.

The spiders will not be roaming the map freely and will be restricted to a certain location. There will also be a maximum of twelve spiders allowed in this area so don’t worry about being overrun.

Code has also revealed that players may see spider eggs, which will burst with some of the critters jumping out and chasing players down.

Goliath

Storm Point will also host a Goliath, a massive animal that is almost like an alien Ape, twice the width of Gibraltar.

Once again, this Goliath will have its own “pit” which the creature will be restricted to. Players will most likely have to fight this beast to gain rewards, and it may not be that easy considering the animal’s size.

Flyers

Finally, we have the Flyers, which are also not new to Apex Legends. Players have seen Flyers cruising around the skies of Kings Canyon often holding Deathboxes with loot. Players can shoot the Flyers for them to release the Deathboxes.

Perhaps they will be similarly returning to Storm Point, or maybe players will be able to interact with them differently. There will be a maximum of 54 Flyers on the map at one time, which is a hell of a lot!

Rewards

One thing Thordan is certain about is that players will be rewarded for their interactions with the wildlife, especially when it comes to the Goliath. Players will likely be rewarded with high-tier loot when taking on these creatures, so regardless of your fears it will be worth it!

There you have it, the new Apex Legends Season 11 map, Storm Point, just may have more in store for players than we expected.

Of course, these are all leaks so take this information lightly, but we do expect to see all these types of wildlife in some compacity.

Apex Legends Mobile leak claims Solos mode arrives before PC & console

Apex Legends players have been calling for a Solos mode for many seasons, but according to leaks mobile players could be getting it first.

Apex Legends Mobile leaks are suggesting that the handheld version of the battle royale will be getting a Solos mode before PC and Console.

Apex Legends offers players a variety of ways to play the battle royale. Those who like to enjoy casual games can hop into public games, while those who like a challenge can indulge in the Ranked Leagues.

There’s also the Arenas mode and various LTMs ever so often with the Awakening Collection Event for Season 13 bringing the return of Control.

Having said that, Apex Legends players have been wanting a Solos mode ever since the Iron Crown Event back in Season 2, however, it seems mobile will be getting it first.

Back in Apex Legends Season 2, players were given the Iron Crown Event, which saw a Solo LTM introduced into the game. Ever since it was removed, it has yet to return.

This has left Apex players wanting a Solos mode for over ten seasons, and according to leaks, Apex Legends Mobile Season 2 could be getting the highly requested mode first.

Apex Legends dataminer ThatOneGamingBot discovered some interesting icons in the Apex Legends Mobile files, suggesting that Solos will be introduced.

This of course caused disappointing reactions from the community, who have been hoping that the mode would be introduced on consoles and PC as well. Thordan Smash sarcastically commented “Nice that Apex Legends is finally getting Solo Modeā€¦for mobile,” along with a sad face emoji.

Having said that, the dataminer did reply to Thordan’s reaction, stating that the Solos mode from Apex Mobile is “probably an LTM.” While this could be true, Thordan Smash replied again saying that he’d “gladly take solos as an LTM again” on consoles and PC.

We’ll have to wait and see how this leaked Solos mode will be introduced on Apex Legends Mobile. It does seem that the handheld version of the battle royale is getting more and more exclusive content, especially as the second mobile-exclusive Legend was also leaked for Season 2.

Apex Legends has a great rank system that is both easy to understand and extremely addictive. For those who want a more competitive experience and a way to gauge their own skill, Ranked Leagues is the place to be.

How does rank reset work in Apex Legends?

Since Apex Legends Season 3, Respawn has split the ranked season into two halves, each spanning one and half months.

At the end of the first split, players will experience a “soft reset” for the second half of the ranked season, which sees their rank reduced by 4 divisions.

That means if you ended the first split in Gold II, you will see an Apex Legends rank reset to Silver II when the second ranked split begins.

Apex Predators, which is the players in the top rank, will be reset to Diamond IV, so be wary at the start of the split if you make your way to Diamond fast, you’ll be up against some tough competition.

Apex Legends: Lifeline’s Clinic teases Kings Canyon & new moon BR map

Lifeline’s Clinic on Olympus for Apex Legends Season 13 possesses easter eggs which hint at Kings Canyon updates and a new BR map.

An easter egg found on Apex Legends’ brand-new Lifeline Town Takeover on Olympus may hint at map changes to Kings Canyon and a new moon-themed BR map.

The Apex Legends Awakening Collection Event didn’t just bring new cosmetics, Valkyrie’s Heirloom, and the return of Control, it also brought a brand-new Town Takeover.

As well as some buffs, Lifeline got her very own POI on Olympus called the Clinic, which definitely holds a few secrets. Some players in the Apex Legends community have discovered some easter eggs in the new POI which may be hinting at both Kings Canyon changes and the next BR map.

Lifeline’s new Town Takeover on Olympus brings new life to the northeastern side of the map, sitting just behind the Gardens POI. Since 1.98 patch dropped on June 21, players have been getting to grips with this new POI and all it has to offer.

Apex Legends content creator kralrindo pointed out some interesting magazines that can be found in the POI, one of which the headline states “Salvage operation complete…say hello to King’s Canyon’s New Relic.”

This is of course hinting at the King’s Canyon POI Salvage, which has been attempting to clean up the collapse of Skull Town since Season 5. This magazine headline is clearly hinting at a change to the POI, as the salvage operation has been complete, and a new relic is now in its place.

It’s unclear what Salvage is going to be replaced with, but the “new relic” could be salvaged parts of Skull Town, which possessed a massive skeleton of an ancient creature. We’ll likely find out when more is revealed for Season 14, which is when the map will return.

Further, someone in the comments noticed another easter egg in the same magazine, as just above the Salvage story it reads: “Boreas News…CRC in a deadlock about the moon’s future.”

Boreas is Seer’s home planet, and many believe this headline is just a reference to the destroyed moon in the skybox of the Arenas map Encore.

However, previous leaks have revealed Respawn’s plans for the next battle royale map, which could possibly be set on a moon, and some think this may be a teaser for it.

We aren’t set for a new battle royale map until Season 15, and that’s only if the current trend of a new battle royale map releasing every four seasons is correct. With that being said, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a teaser this earlier on.

We’ll have to wait and see if any more teasers can back up the magazine headlines, but for now, check out the Apex Legends leaks that are suggesting a level cap increase is on its way.
