Apex Legends Season 13 Awakened Collection Event release date

Currently, there is no official release date for the Apex Legends Season 13 Collection Event, but dataminer AG420 put out a tweet with a date for a teaser that is supposedly going to be active on June 14, 2022.

Another leaker, Thordan Smash, believes this teaser will be followed by the Awakened Collection Event a week later, which would be June 21, 2022.

Of course, this is just speculation and leaks, so take these dates with a grain of salt. When official news is released by Respawn we will be sure to update this section.

Awakened Collection Event Heirloom & skins

The Apex Legends Season 13 Collection Event will bring 24 cosmetic items to the game, as well as one Heirloom, which according to leaks, will be Valkyrie’s Heirloom.

The skins are said to have an “anime hero” theme, with dataminers even finding an untextured Revenant skin in the game’s files that could be released in this event.

As more information is known about the cosmetics up for grabs in this Collection Event, we will be sure to update this piece so stay tuned.

Town Takeover & LTM

Although we haven’t seen one for a while, Thordan Smash believes that this Season 13 Collection Event could also come with a brand new Town Takeover for Bangalore.

It’s unclear which map this could be on, but as more information is released we will update this section, as it could be on Storm Point.

Further, dataminers have also revealed that it’s possible we may see a new LTM arrive in the Apex Legends Season 13 Collection Event known as “Killing Time,” which sees the ring close faster every time a Legend dies.

This LTM was originally supposed to be dropping with the War Games event back in Season 8, but may now be arriving in the Season 13 Awakened Collection Event.

Clever Apex Legends trick reverts Kraber nerfs

With this clever trick, Apex Legends’ Kraber Sniper Rifle becomes a one-shot machine yet again, even after nerfs.

Apex Legends players have found a way to make the Kraber Sniper Rifle one-shot kill yet again after the Season 13 nerfs.

Apex Legends Season 13 brought some pretty huge changes to the game, especially when it comes to the Legends and weapon meta.

As well as some major Valkyrie nerfs and the introduction of Newcastle, Season 13 also nerfed the only one-shot kill weapon in the game, the Kraber.

This combined with the Helmet buffs caused a change in the weapon’s one-shot headshot potential, but this new trick reverts the changes.

apex legends kraber

Prior to the nerfs, the Kraber would one-shot any Legend as long as it was a headshot. This made the weapon extremely powerful and useful in end-game situations, as just one shot could change the tide of a fight.

Now, in Season 13, as long as players have the correct armor requirements, the Kraber is no longer a guaranteed one-shot kill.

Having said that, thanks to Apex Legends content creator RossTheeSquirrel, there is indeed a way for players to one-shot any Legend with the Kraber even after the Season 13 patch.

By shooting through Rampart’s Tactical ability, Amped Cover, players actually gain an increase in damage as the shielded wall “amps outgoing shots.”

This increases the Kraber’s headshot damage to revert the Season 13 nerfs, making it a one-shot headshot against any Legend no matter what armor they are wearing.

While Rampart hasn’t been considered the most popular Legend in Apex according to the pick rates, she received a buff in Season 13 and players seem to be more interested in giving her a try.

Now, she also has this added benefit of being the only Legend that has the capabilities to make the Kraber a one-shot kill again, perhaps those who love the Kraber will give her a chance.

Apex Legends players want Pathfinder Passive from mobile

Apex Legends players are calling for the devs to give Pathfinder a new Passive seen in the mobile version of the battle royale.

Apex Legends players on PC and console have wanted a new Passive for Pathfinder for some time now, and the mobile version of the battle royale may have the answer.

Apex Legends Mobile has hit the ground running, with loads of content at launch including an exclusive Legend, Fade, who has some great abilities.

PC and console players have been slightly jealous about some of the features seen in Apex Mobile, wanting them included in the main version of the game despite getting an exciting new Legend in Newcastle.

Now, some are even suggesting that one of Pathfinder’s mobile-exclusive abilities should become his new Passive on PC and console.

Apex Legends Recon class

For those who are unaware, Pathfinder’s Passive has been extremely underwhelming for some time now, as the ability to scan Survey Beacons and reveal the next zone.

This is something that all Recon Legends can do, so the community has been calling for Pathfinder to have something more personalized for the Legend.

The devs did expand on this slightly, as now Pathfinder gets his Ultimate back after scanning, which isn’t the case for all the other Recon Legends.

Popular Apex Legends content creator TheGamingMerchant put out a video suggesting an idea for Pathfinder’s Passive, which is inspired by Apex Legends Mobile.

In Apex Legends Mobile, every Legend has a perk system that gives them new abilities and added benefits. One of Pathfinder’s is the ability to pull downed teammates with his grapple, which is called “Friend Reunion.”

TheGamingMerchant thinks this would be a great Passive for Pathfinder in the main game. This would give Pathfinder an added role of support, pulling downed teammates in to cover for a safe revive.

We’ll have to wait and see what the devs do to Pathfinder’s Passive in the future, as it’s unlikely that changes will be coming for the Legend anytime soon.

Best Apex Legends Storm Point landing spots for Season 13

Apex Legends new map Storm Point will be releasing in Season 13. For those looking to get a head start, here’s some of the best landing spots.

apex legends storm point

Respawn’s battle royale will be getting a brand-new map very soon, and for those eager to gain some early knowledge, we’ve compiled some of the best Apex Legends Storm Point landing spots for Season 13.

The Apex Legends Season 13 update has made things very interesting with all the new changes, especially to ranked.

As well as a shift in the Legend meta thanks to Newcastle‘s introduction, and a change in the best weapons to use due to all the buffs and nerfs, Season 13 also brought changes to Storm Point.

Here are the best Apex Legends Storm Point landing spots for those looking to get off to a good start in Season 13.

apex legends storm point

As the first split of the Ranked Leagues will be played on Storm Point for Season 13, players may be wondering which locations are best to land at.

The following are POIs we feel will provide players with the best loot and rotation, but beware, as you may be contested.

Best Apex Legends Storm Point landing spots

Barometer

apex legends storm point barometer

First off, we have Barometer, which is one of the largest POIs on Storm Point. Barometer will be an excellent drop for those more offensive teams, as it’s one of the main attractions on the map.

Barometer has more than enough loot for a full squad while also being in a great position on the map, relatively isolated from other locations, so you don’t have to worry so much about third parties pulling up.

North Pad

north pad storm point

North Pad is a great spot for teams to land as it has a crazy amount of loot. The whole squad can land here and get enough loot, and it’s also a great position on the map.

Anyone pushing you at this location will be easy to fight as well, as North Pad holds a strong position in the surrounding area, which is pretty flat and has a lack of cover.

New to Season 13 is the IMC Armories, and their introduction also makes North Pad a strong landing, as there is one located just outside of the POI. Looting the whole of North Pad and then completing the Armory will have you set for the rest of the match.

Shipfall

apex legends storm point shipfall

On the opposite side of the map, we have Shipfall, which is the furthest south POI on Storm Point. This is a great landing spot as it will give you and your team some time to loot up, maybe kill some wildlife for loot and Evo Shields, and then progress.

Shipfall is great for the teams looking for a lot of loot but are also cautious of landing with too many teams, with Barometer taking some of its shine.

It also offers a great rotation on the Eastern side of the map, offering paths to Gale Station and Fish Farm with a nearby Trident.

The Downed Beast

apex legends diving into storm point

The Downed Beast is the new Season 13 POI added to Storm Point by Respawn. This is one of the best spots in the game as it guarantees great loot in the middle of the huge dead sea monster.

There are also plenty of looting spots around the beast, allowing all members of the squad to get their fair share of loot. Further, It’s also a great spot to get looted and then head towards a nearby fight, which is a good strategy for getting kills in Ranked.
