Apex Legends Season 13 is seeing a pretty major change to the loot pool, as one of the most popular weapons will be entering the Replicator and taken out of floor loot.

There are many changes coming to Apex Legends in Season 13. Not only are we getting a reworked Ranked system and new Legend Newcastle but we are also getting some other gameplay changes that will freshen up the battle royale game.

One of these changes is to do with the availability of certain weapons in floor loot, as one of the game’s most popular guns will be entering the Replicator for Season 13.

In Apex Legends Season 12, players saw the introduction of Replicator weapons, which is essentially just two weapons from the game’s loot pool that will only be available through the crafting.

For Season 12, the weapons in the Replicator were the Flatline and Longbow, two strong weapons that were no doubt seen less in BR matches due to their removal from the loot pool.

For Season 13, these weapons are changing, and thanks to the EA blog post on all the Storm Point map changes, we gained insight into the two new weapons that will be entering the Replicator through an image of the map.

As you can see from the Crafting Rotation in the top right section of the image above, both the R-301 and Rampage will be entering the Replicator and removed from the loot pool in Apex Legends Season 13.

While both these weapons are widely used, the R-301 is arguably the most popular and strongest weapon in the game, next to the Wingman, of course. This has obviously sparked some reactions in the comments below Alpha Intel’s post.

While some are happy with the change, with one user saying “W,” others aren’t too impressed, “?!? The 301? They should have weapons on there people dont regularly use like the Bocek, P2020, LStar idk.”

This has caused a lot of mixed reactions, mostly due to how popular the R-301 is. One thing players have to remember is that it is not being removed from the game or going into the Care Package, it is simply being out in the Replicator.

So, if you wish to use the R-301 or Rampage in Apex Legends Season 13, make it a priority to land near a Replicator or at a POI with one.
