Apex Legends players are getting excited about Season 13 content as Respawn Entertainment ramp up the teasers.

Respawn Entertainment are kicking off their Apex Legends Season 13 teasers as they hint at some interesting activity in Storm Point’s waters.

Apex Legends is now in the second split of Season 12, soft resetting for those who enjoy the Ranked Leagues climb once again.

The second split marks the halfway point for Season 12, meaning players are edging ever closer to Season 13, which is set up to become one of the most highly anticipated seasons thanks to teasers and leaks.

Respawn Entertainment have already started getting players excited for the update with a new teaser on their social media pages and also in-game for the Control LTM.

Apex Legends Season 13 Storm Point teasers

Respawn Entertainment took to social media to unveil their first teaser for Season 13. After some investigation and leaks revealing that Storm Point was going to get some map changes, players believe the teaser is for Storm Point.

The teaser is a GIF of a computer screen that is showing a warning that states “DEEP SEA SEISMIC EVENT DETECTED.”

Seismic activity is a geographical term for earthquakes or any other vibrations that happen on the Earth’s surface. In this case, the warning is indicating deep sea vibrations, which many are suggesting could be a massive sea monster.

The recent leaks surrounding Season 13’s Storm Point map update showed a huge sea monster washed ashore by The Mill. Perhaps this is exactly what the above GIF is teasing.

In-game teasers for Apex Legends Season 13

Thanks to Apex dataminer Shrugtal, we also know that players will actually be able to see some Season 13 teasers in-game come April 7 at around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST.

These teasers will be available for players to see on each Control LTM map:

  • Barometer – Storm Point
  • Hammond Labs – Olympus
  • Caustic Treatment – Kings Canyon

The teaser can only be seen in Control and will be a new floating digital billboard that can be seen from the loading screen of each Control map.

The Newcastle teaser banner reads “The wait is over, he’s here!” along with a blacked-out silhouette of the Legend. Thanks to the leaked footage of his character model, it’s pretty clear that it is this unreleased Legend.

More teasers are set to come as well and according to a video from Thordan Smash, a reliable Apex leaker, there are 5 dates in total for Season 13 teasers. Some of these teasers involve a monitor in Command Centre on Storm Point.

Season 13 leaked teaser dates & locations

  • April 7 – 13:
    • Teaser banners appear on loading screens for Control LTM maps Barometer, Hammond Labs, and Caustic Treatment.
  • April 13:
    • First monitor teaser active in Command Centre.
  • April 15:
    • Second monitor teaser active in Command Centre.
  • April 17:
    • Third monitor teaser in Command Centre.
  • April 19:
    • Leviathans will die and a sea monster will make an appearance.

Supposedly the monitor teasers are also associated with the recent leaks that suggested controllable NPCs would make an appearance in Season 13.

We’ll have to wait and see if all of this is true once the teasers start rolling out, as most of this is leaked information and so it’s subject to change. Having said that, players will be seeing teasers starting April 7, so make sure you dive into a game and check them out.

Apex Legends pro claims Season 13 ranked changes will make you a better player

An Apex Legends pro has come out in support of the Season 13 ranked changes, claiming it will make players better.

After receiving backlash, Apex Legends pro Mac ‘Albralelie’ Beckwith has shared his thoughts on the new Season 13 ranked system, claiming it will improve players.

Apex Legends Season 13 brought some drastic changes to the ranked system, changing the way players gain points and grind through the ranks.

Previously, the system had been more focused on kills, but the new system places emphasis on placement. This has made it harder for players to earn points and level up, as the lobbies have become much more competitive in the final zones.

ranked reloaded apex legends

In Apex Legends Season 13’s Ranked Leagues, players are encouraged to stay alive and play for the win, rather than getting a load of kills. This had led to more squads and players being alive in final circles, making it harder to gain points.

While the community hasn’t been particularly fond of these changes, seasoned Apex Legends pro Albralelie gave his opinions on this new system, supporting the dev’s changes while making some controversial comments.

In a recent stream, the Apex Legends pro shared his feelings towards the changes, believing the new ranked changes are healthy for the game, which is contrary to the community’s reaction.

Ultimately, the pro feels as if the new changes are going to make players better at the game. Albralelie says that the new system “caters to you being able to actually improve as you climb…don’t get defeated.”

The streamer and Apex pro also made some interesting comments on solo players while answering a question about whether solo players should be able to reach the higher ranks.

The pro makes a controversial statement: “should a solo player be able to reach Masters in a team-based competitive BR? Just because it happened before doesn’t mean it was supposed to happen, right?”

It’s interesting to hear a professional Apex Legends player’s take on the new ranked system, especially as casual players have been pretty upset with the changes. All in all, the pro feels it will make players better, and even if players are now in lower ranks than they’re used to, they should use it as motivation to improve.

Clever Apex Legends trick reverts Kraber nerfs

With this clever trick, Apex Legends’ Kraber Sniper Rifle becomes a one-shot machine yet again, even after nerfs.

apex legends saviors rampart kraber

Apex Legends players have found a way to make the Kraber Sniper Rifle one-shot kill yet again after the Season 13 nerfs.

Apex Legends Season 13 brought some pretty huge changes to the game, especially when it comes to the Legends and weapon meta.

As well as some major Valkyrie nerfs and the introduction of Newcastle, Season 13 also nerfed the only one-shot kill weapon in the game, the Kraber.

This combined with the Helmet buffs caused a change in the weapon’s one-shot headshot potential, but this new trick reverts the changes.

apex legends kraber

Prior to the nerfs, the Kraber would one-shot any Legend as long as it was a headshot. This made the weapon extremely powerful and useful in end-game situations, as just one shot could change the tide of a fight.

Now, in Season 13, as long as players have the correct armor requirements, the Kraber is no longer a guaranteed one-shot kill.

Having said that, thanks to Apex Legends content creator RossTheeSquirrel, there is indeed a way for players to one-shot any Legend with the Kraber even after the Season 13 patch.

By shooting through Rampart’s Tactical ability, Amped Cover, players actually gain an increase in damage as the shielded wall “amps outgoing shots.”

This increases the Kraber’s headshot damage to revert the Season 13 nerfs, making it a one-shot headshot against any Legend no matter what armor they are wearing.

While Rampart hasn’t been considered the most popular Legend in Apex according to the pick rates, she received a buff in Season 13 and players seem to be more interested in giving her a try.

Now, she also has this added benefit of being the only Legend that has the capabilities to make the Kraber a one-shot kill again, perhaps those who love the Kraber will give her a chance.

Apex Legends players want Pathfinder Passive from mobile

Apex Legends players are calling for the devs to give Pathfinder a new Passive seen in the mobile version of the battle royale.

apex legends mobile pathfinder

Apex Legends players on PC and console have wanted a new Passive for Pathfinder for some time now, and the mobile version of the battle royale may have the answer.

Apex Legends Mobile has hit the ground running, with loads of content at launch including an exclusive Legend, Fade, who has some great abilities.

PC and console players have been slightly jealous about some of the features seen in Apex Mobile, wanting them included in the main version of the game despite getting an exciting new Legend in Newcastle.

Now, some are even suggesting that one of Pathfinder’s mobile-exclusive abilities should become his new Passive on PC and console.

Apex Legends Recon class

For those who are unaware, Pathfinder’s Passive has been extremely underwhelming for some time now, as the ability to scan Survey Beacons and reveal the next zone.

This is something that all Recon Legends can do, so the community has been calling for Pathfinder to have something more personalized for the Legend.

The devs did expand on this slightly, as now Pathfinder gets his Ultimate back after scanning, which isn’t the case for all the other Recon Legends.

Popular Apex Legends content creator TheGamingMerchant put out a video suggesting an idea for Pathfinder’s Passive, which is inspired by Apex Legends Mobile.

In Apex Legends Mobile, every Legend has a perk system that gives them new abilities and added benefits. One of Pathfinder’s is the ability to pull downed teammates with his grapple, which is called “Friend Reunion.”

TheGamingMerchant thinks this would be a great Passive for Pathfinder in the main game. This would give Pathfinder an added role of support, pulling downed teammates in to cover for a safe revive.

We’ll have to wait and see what the devs do to Pathfinder’s Passive in the future, as it’s unlikely that changes will be coming for the Legend anytime soon.
