Apex Legends Beast of Prey Collection Event release date
EA‘s Apex Legends Beast of Prey Collection Event will be live in-game from Tuesday, September 20, at around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST, until October 4, 2022.
This update is nearing the halfway mark for the season, with the second split for Apex Legends Season 14 coming around a week after the event’s launch.
Apex Legends Beast of Prey Collection Event skins & Heirloom
The most exciting part of an Apex Legends Collection Event is the new Heirloom, and for the Beast of Prey Collection Event, it’s Loba’s turn to receive one.
Loba’s Heirloom is the “Garra de Alanza,” which translates to Alanza’s Claw, which is the name of Loba’s mother. The design is exactly what leaks and speculation thought it would be, a Japanese War Fan.
In order to unlock this Heirloom, players will need to obtain the whole collection of 24 items.
Beast of Prey skins
The Apex Legends Beast of Prey Collection Event in Season 14 will bring 24 event-themed cosmetics to the game, all inspired by the popular movie franchise, Alien Vs Predator.
The Legendary Legend skins included in this event are for the following characters:
- Fuse – Bounty Hunter
- Pathfinder – Search and Destroy
- Loba – Thrill of the Hunt
- Rampart – Frozen Carnage
- Octane – Die Tired
- Horizon – Brood Mother
- Lifeline – Healing Huntress
The event will also feature various Legendary weapon skins for the Alternator, Rampage, Peacekeeper, Havoc, and the Prowler, as well as a variety of Epic rarity cosmetics.
The event will also possess two prize trackers with various free rewards that players can earn by completing event challenges, with the second coming in the last week of the event. These free rewards include a Legendary Flatline skin and Epic Vantage skin.
Apex Legends Gun Run LTM
As well as the collection and Heirloom, the Apex Legends Beast of Prey Collection Event update will also see the arrival of a new LTM, Gun Run.
Gun Run is a new limited-time mode that consists of four squads of three who will fight to cycle through weapons by gaining team kills. Similarly to Call of Duty’s Gun Game, the first team to reach the final weapon and gain a kill with it is the winner.
The final weapon is a brand-new Gun Run-exclusive Throwing Knife, which will be available in the Firing Range for practice during the event. The limited-time mode also features infinite ammo, healing, and respawns.
That’s all for the Apex Legends Beast of Prey Collection Event. For more, check out what weapon an Apex Legends pro recommends players use in order to obtain the 4k damage badge.
