Apex Legends leakers have discovered a brand new collection event coming to Season 8 codenamed ‘Warlord.’

Over Apex Legends’ numerous seasons, Respawn Entertainment has included various ‘Collection Events.’ These are limited-time events that allow players to earn an Heirloom melee weapon that relates to certain Legends.

Most recently, Apex Legends Season 8 featured the two-year anniversary event which allowed players to unlock a previously released Heirloom.

There’s set to be even more Legendary loot to unlock, as Apex Legends leakers have discovered an upcoming Collection Event codenamed ‘Warlord.’

According to Apex Legends data miner GarretLeaks, this new event will likely arrive in early March.

With it comes a brand new Town Takeover. In Season 7, Pathfinder set up shop in Olympus which added a boxing ring for players to take a break from the shooting and have a classic bout of fisticuffs.

For Season 8, data miners believe Caustic will take over Kings Canyon’s Water Treatment. There are no details on what this will look like yet, but expect things to turn toxic.

As is standard for Collection Events, there will be an Heirloom to unlock by acquiring all 24 of the event’s cosmetics. These include Legendary skins for Loba, Gibraltar, and Caustic, and Epic skins for Wattson, Octane, and various weapons.

For acquiring all of these cosmetic items, you’ll gain access to the previously leaked Bangalore Heirloom which appears to be a stylized kukri knife.

These cosmetic items can only be acquired by spending money. Purchase packs with Apex Coins, and once you’ve got your hands on all 24 of the event cosmetics, you’ll be able to show off your new Heirloom.

As Garret states, ‘Warlord’ is just a codename for the upcoming Collection Event. Developers tend to do this to stop data miners from finding out too much about upcoming items and events.

If these items take your fancy, you better start saving your Apex Coins ahead of the Collection Event’s expected to launch in March.
