Apex Legends players have discovered a trick that lets them drive Tridents outside of the Storm Point map, allowing them to rotate around it without encountering opponents.

There is a plethora of exciting new content in Apex Legends Season 11, including buffs and nerfs, a brand-new Legend named Ash, and the tropical Storm Point map which comes with its own wildlife.

If you want to get around Storm Point fast, then you can find a Trident to drive on the map. However, a few players have discovered a trick that lets them take these vehicles outside the boundaries of the new map.

Player discovers Apex Trident trick

Reddit user ErikDaDada shared a TikTok featuring this trick in the Apex Legends subreddit. Since Storm Point is an island, a Trident allows players to hover above the water by driving to certain points.

Players just need to drive to one of these spots and hug the island’s cliffside to make the Trident float. They can then rotate around the map without encountering any enemies.

You need to make sure that you don’t jump out of the Trident while it’s floating on water. If you do, you’ll be instantly eliminated.

You can’t go too far outside the boundaries, but it’s useful to be able to rotate around the Island. This trick allows you to rotate without encountering enemies who would try to shoot you down. So, this can help when you’re overwhelmed by enemies.

While this might seem like a glitch, the Redditor shared a quote stating this feature was “internal and designed that way”. However, it’s currently unclear whether or not this is true.

That said, Season 11 does have its fair share of bugs and glitches, as deadly spots in the Storm Point map are instantly killing players, while another one is letting players stack unlimited EVO shield damage.
