Apex Legends have officially revealed new details including skins for the upcoming Veiled Collection Event in Season 16, which brings the new Caustic Prestige skin.

Apex Legends has had many events already in Season 16, with the previous being Sun Squad, which brought a new LTM and set of 24 new cosmetics, along with Ash’s Heirloom.

Now, with that event in the past, players can look forward to the next event ahead of Season 17, which will mark the fourth for Season 16, the most events in any season of Apex Legends since launch.

For those interested in the new Apex Legends Veiled Collection Event, here are all of the details you need to know, including the release date, Caustic Prestige skin, LTM, and more.

Apex Legends Veiled Collection Event release date

Respawn Entertainment have officially announced that the Apex Legends Veiled Collection Event will be going live on April 25, 2023, at around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT.

The event will end after two weeks on May 9, 2023, giving players plenty of time to dig their teeth into the new content.

Apex Legends Veiled Collection Event Caustic Prestige skin

The Apex Legends Veiled Collection Event will bring Caustic’s Prestige Skin. Players have already seen the Wraith Heirloom recolor and Ash’s Heirloom in Season 16, so the only thing left is the next Mythic skin, which has been revealed as Caustic’s.

The design showcases a green and black mech suit with a holographic visor, with pointed shoulder pads, and a helmet. The trailer also revealed the Caustic Prestige Skin finisher, where the Legend vomits toxic liquid over the enemy.

The Apex Legends Veiled Collection Event will also bring a collection of 24 new cosmetics and a reward tracker. Players can expect new skins for Rampart, Valkyrie, Pathfinder, Gibraltar, Wattson, and Octane. The theme of the event is “Veiled,” and the character’s skins seem to have a theme of masquerade, which fits.

There will also be Legendary weapon skins to go with these, including ones for the Spitfire, Sentinel, and C.A.R.

There will also be an Apex Legends Veiled Collection Event Reward Tracker with free rewards, such as a Newcastle skin and Mozambique skin, that players will have to complete rewards in order to earn.

New Apex Legends LTM: TDM Unshielded Deadeye

The Apex Legends Veiled Collection Event also introduces a new LTM known as TDM Unshielded Deadeye. This LTM puts a “twist on Team Deathmatch with Legends wielding limited, rotating loadouts each match to prove their skill. Every match loadouts will be randomly given so players will start with one of the following weapon sets:”

  • Wingman and 30-30 Repeater
  • Hemlock and G7 Scout
  • Kraber and Sentinel

These weapons require skill and accuracy, hence the mention of Deadeye in the LTM’s name. Further, Care packages are turned off and players will have no shields or helmets. The first team to 50 kills wins the match.
