Apex Legends: When is the Fight Night collection event?
The Collection Event for Apex Legends Season 7 will bring a ton of new content for players. Here’s everything that we know so far about the event, including the new skins, LTM, and when it releases.
Collection Events have been an Apex Legends tradition since Season 1. They serve as an opportunity for players to see all the new skins, challenges, and daily objectives that Respawn have planned for them.
The Apex Legends Season 7 collection event will be arriving soon. It is titled Fright Night, and fans are excited to see what new content awaits them. We found out earlier that Town Takeover will be in the form of a Pathfinder boxing arena, but there’s more to see.
When does the Fight Night collection event release?
We haven’t gotten an official release date for the Fight Night collection event yet. The trailer leaked online, but we can’t find anything that confirms when it will take place. Despite this, we can still piece together the most probable date.
The developers said that they plan to have the mid-Season 7 update go live around Monday, January 4, which is when the Holo-Day Bash will end. Respawn may also hold the event around this time to mark the update with new cosmetics and challenges for players.
We expect that Fight Night will take place approximately one week after the end of the current event. You can see the full version of the leaked trailer for this below:
Fight Night skins & cosmetics
Despite the less-than-stellar quality of the leaked trailer, we can still make out many of the new skins and cosmetics that will be available in the collection event. Pathfinder is confirmed to be getting a new look since Town Takeover will be all about him.
Crypto, Gibraltar, Bloodhound, Bangalore, Wattson, Caustic, Loba, Mirage, and Revenant will all be getting new outfits as well. We didn’t see any cosmetic changes for the other Legends, but they may get some too when the event rolls around.
Fight Night collection event LTM
The Winter Express proved to be a popular LTM among Apex fans, so Respawn has another one planned for Fight Night. There is a Japanese version of the event trailer in which they mention a new mode called ‘Airdrop escalation takeover.’
The full details of this match aren’t known, but the description explains that ‘Care package is replaced by items and full-kitted weapons which rarity increases gradually.’ It seems like we’ll be competing without the use of Evo weapons in this mode.
We might also see a new Heirloom, as those are normally added to the game in collection events. If a new one is revealed, then it will be the third one in Season 7, following those of Gibraltar and Bangalore.
That covers everything that we know about the Fight Night Collection event so far. Until we hear something official from Respawn, we can only speculate about much of what we’ll see when it goes live. Once we hear something new, we’ll be sure to update you.
