Respawn Entertainment have confirmed they are working on a hotfix for Apex Legends’ Encore Arena map, that came with a frustrating glitch that lets players shoot through walls.

The Apex Legends Monsters Within event helped players get into the Halloween spirit with various new challenges. It also introduced a new Arenas map named Encore, located on Seer’s homeworld Boreas.

Unfortunately, various players have reported a bug that lets them see through objects on the map and spot anyone who might be behind them. This has caught the attention of the developers as well.

Reddit user debroodpiraat shared a clip of their gameplay in the Apex Legends subreddit. It showcased the glitch letting barrages of fire go through objects like they were made of thin air.

This led to a response from Respawn Lead Level Designer, Dave ‘StryderPilot’ Osei, in the same thread. He reassured fans that the devs are aware of the problem and are working to solve it.

“Ugh, I’m sorry. This sucks. We should’ve caught this earlier. Working on a fix,” he wrote.

Apex Legends players have also been facing a few other problems with the game. Recent server issues have affected the game’s progress so much that player complaints have negatively impacted the Steam reviews.

It’s reassuring to know that Respawn Entertainment are aware of the bug, which means that we can expect a hotfix in an upcoming update patch.
