Apex Legends devs tease more Ranked changes following Season 11 RP update
Respawn Entertainment brought some major Ranked changes in Apex Legends Season 11, and the developers have teased more updates to RP calculation system are coming in the near future.
Apex Legends Season 11 brought plenty of fun additions and changes for fans to enjoy, including buffs and nerfs, a brand-new Legend named Ash, and the tropical Storm Point map which comes with its own wildlife.
The developers also changed how the rank points (RP) system works in the game’s Ranked mode, so that players can more easily score kill points (KP) when playing. Now, the devs seem to be teasing even more Ranked changes.
While the points chart is the same, Apex Legends Season 11 lifted the six-kill limit in Ranked mode so that players don’t need to win games to get the most out of their kills.

One fan created a chart in the CompetitiveApex subreddit to explain how many rank points are required to climb each rank. This received a response from Apex Legends Technical Game Designer Exgeniar.
“These charts are going to get real confusing real soon,” said the dev. One fan then asked whether that means some more Ranked changes are planned, which led to the dev replying: “Time to make a calculator instead of charts.”
While Exgeniar didn’t elaborate further, many Apex Legends players are now speculating about what other Ranked changes Respawn have planned for the future. We might see some new additions later in Season 11.
At the time of writing, it’s unclear what exactly these changes will be, and we can only guess what Respawn will add to the battle royale. We’ll be but we’ll be sure to share more details as soon as the developers announce them.
