Apex Legends Season 10 Seer guide: Tips & tricks for the new Legend
Apex Legends season 10 sees Seer enter the battlefield, a new Recon Legend with some interesting abilities.
Season 10 is bringing a heap of new content to Apex Legends, from World’s Edge updates to meta changes in the patch notes.
As well as this, like every new season, Emergence will also see Seer enter the roster, a new Recon Legend with a lot of depth in his abilities, so let’s take a look at the best way to use him.
Bloodhound has been running the Recon class in Apex Legends for some time now, with Crypto and Pathfinder both offering very different and less effective recon abilities.
However, Seer’s kit is very promising and even looks like he might rival Bloodhound for the best Recon Legend in the game. Seer’s abilities have a lot of depth, but once players master his kit, he has the potential to be very dangerous.
How to unlock Seer in Apex Legends Season 10
Now that Season 10 has finally begun, Seer can be unlocked right now in the Legends section of the lobby menu.

Apex Legends Seer abilities tips and tricks
Passive – Heart Seeker
Visualize and hear the heartbeats of nearby enemies when aiming down sights to get a clue to their location. Seer is able to “ADS” even while not holding a weapon.
Seer’s passive is a great tool for finding nearby enemies. Use the heartbeat sensor by simply aiming down sights. This will bring up a circle over your reticle, which will go from blue to orange when enemies are nearby.
Be aware, as you don’t actually need a weapon to use the heartbeat sensor, so make the most of it as soon as you land. Further, the heartbeat sensor will turn fully orange if Seer is looking directly at an enemy, which is extremely useful to know, as you can direct the tactical towards them.
Tactical – Focus of Attention
Summon microdrones to emit a focused, delayed blast that goes through walls, revealing enemies (and their health bars!), plus interrupting their actions.
Seer’s tactical works well with the heartbeat sensor. Once you find the direction of the enemy, you can easily activate the tactical in the direction of the heartbeat and scan enemies.
Further, we’ve found it’s best to hold down the tactical when you think you hear someone, waiting for the reticle to turn orange to confirm the direction, then using the tactical to scan the enemies, as holding down the tactical brings up the heartbeat sensor.
Remember, this tactical also reveals heal bars and prevents enemies from reviving, healing, and using abilities. Make sure you use it when you know someone’s doing one of those things.
Ultimate – Exhibit
Create a sphere of microdrones that reveal the footsteps of enemies moving quickly or firing their weapons within.
Seer’s ultimate covers a vast area and is great for getting information before your team enters a fight. The best way to use it is when you’re trying to gain an idea of where enemies are either fighting or pushing you and your team.
This will give you an advantage over the enemy and might even make them back off or change their plan of attack.
Class Passive: Recon
Scanning survey beacons reveals the next circle’s location.
Lastly, Seer is a Recon Legend, so don’t forget to scan beacons, a useful way of getting more information about where you and other teams will need to rotate.
That’s all for Seer’s abilities and how to use them in Apex Legends Season 10. For more on the new season, stay tuned on Charlie INTEL and check out our article on Octane’s secret update in the patch notes.
