The Apex Legends Season 14 split gives players a small mid-season reset to freshen things up. As well as a new map for Ranked Leagues, players will also experience a soft reset, motivating them to get back into playing ranked for either battle royale or Arenas.

For those interested in knowing more about the split, including the date it will occur, map change, how far your rank will be reset, and the kind of rewards you can expect, here’s our guide on the Apex Legends split date.

Apex Legends Season 14 split date

Vantage in Apex Legends

The Apex Legends split for Season 14 will take place on September 27 at around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM GMT.

On this date, not only will the map change for Ranked Leagues, but a player’s rank for both Battle Royale Ranked Leagues and Ranked Arenas will be soft reset.

Rank reset

In order to keep things fresh and exciting through the season, the Apex Legends halfway split changes the ranked map and also resets a player’s rank by six divisions.

This means that if you finished the first split at Platinum IV, you will be reset back to Silver II.

Map rotation

The first split of Apex Legends Ranked Leagues will be taking place on Kings Canyon, the beloved original map that has been overhauled for Season 14.

For the second split of Apex Legends Season 14, Ranked Leagues will be changing its map from Kings Canyon to Storm Point up until the end of the season.

Ranked rewards

The reward you receive at the start of the next season will be based on your highest rank achieved in either of the two splits.

For example, if you achieve Diamond rank in Split 1 but don’t play in Split 2, you will still receive the rewards for Diamond rank at the start of the next season. Keep in mind that to gain the rewards for the Apex Predator rank you must retain the rank until the split ends.

Players will obtain a shiny badge if they are able to achieve the same rank across the two splits within a season.

Including the sought-after Dive Trails, here are the following rewards for each rank:

  • Bronze – Badge & Holospray
  • Silver – Badge & Holospray
  • Gold – Badge, Holospray, & Weapon Cosmetic
  • Platinum – Badge, Holospray, & Weapon Cosmetic
  • Diamond – Badge, Holospray, Weapon Cosmetic, & Season-Long Dive Trial
  • Master – Badge, Holospray, Weapon Cosmetic, & Season-Long Dive Trial
