Apex Legends Three Strikes return date
Three Strikes will return in Apex Legends on April 23, 2024, with the Urban Assault Collection Event. The mode will be available when the event goes live at around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST.
We expect the mode to be available during the event’s run time, which is two weeks, ending on May 7, 2024.
What is Apex Legends’ Three Strikes? LTM explained
Three Strikes is a limited-time mode in Apex Legends that sees teams of three dropping into battle royale with three lives, and if they are wiped three times, they are then eliminated from the game.
Further, downed players are immune to damage and revives are extremely fast in Three Strikes, meaning you can revive your teammates in no time and they will not die when they are downed unless the team is wiped.
It’s also important to note that when a team comes back after being wiped within three times, they will drop back into the map with their full loadout, including armor, weapons, and ammo.
Is Three Strikes a permanent mode in Apex Legends?
No, Three Strikes is a limited-time mode, meaning it comes and goes. That said, there’s a chance that the mode sticks around longer than planned, as we have seen the devs extend LTM dates based on community feedback.
If this happens when the Three Strikes LTM is introduced during the Urban Assault event, we’ll be sure to update this piece. Further, there’s always a chance that the mode becomes permanent in the future, as that’s exactly what we saw with the Mixtape playlist, introducing modes like Team Deathmatch and Gun Run permanently, so perhaps the same could happen with Three Strikes.
When will Three Strikes be removed from Apex Legends?
We expect the Apex Legends Three Strikes LTM to be removed on May 7, 2023, as that’s when the Urban Assault event comes to a close.
That said, this has not been confirmed, so we’ll be sure to update this as and when the devs comment on an end date or perhaps even an extension for the LTM.
