Clever Apex Legends Replicator trick traps enemies
One Apex Legends player has highlighted a brilliant trick that allows you to turn a Replicator into a trap and score easy eliminations during battles.
There is a ton of anticipation among the Apex Legends community for the arrival of Season 15: Eclipse which is set to bring a plethora of fun content for players to explore, including a brand-new map.
This means that it’s the perfect time to hop back into the game. If you want to gain an advantage over your opponents then there’s a clever trick involving Replicators that you can use during fights.
These are stations used to turn your collected materials into useful loot, and their locations on the map are always randomized. Crafting with a Replicator takes 10 seconds, and everyone in the vicinity is notified if a player is using one.
Reddit user ‘IDoApex’ showcased a way for you to use this to your advantage. The trick involves positioning yourself on top of the Replicator and waiting for a player to start using the station.
The Redditor showcased this trick in a clip shared in the Apex Legends subreddit. They waited on top of the station and another player ran up to the Replicator to begin turning their crafting materials into loot.
They were completely unaware of IDoApex’s presence, and this made them an easy target. The Reddit user swiftly took them down, and many of the commenters were impressed by this trick.
One user admitted to having fallen for a similar trick when playing the game. They explained: “I know lately I have been seeing people hiding, but I think it’s my imagination and convince myself it’s a prop. I then proceed to get shot a lot.”
Another user added players often “only react to movement” so this trick will come in handy if you want to trap your opponents for an easy kill. Be sure to give it a try the next time you jump into Apex Legends.
