Mysterious new Olympus POI teases Apex Legends Season 11 map update
The Apex Legends’ Olympus map received a new POI through the Evolution Collection Event patch, and it seems to be a potential teaser for the Season 11 map.
Respawn Entertainment often drops teasers whenever they’re planning to introduce a new map to Apex Legends. These often come in the form of new objects and POIs that players discover in the game.
The Evolution Collection Event brought many changes to the game, including a brand-new POI on Olympus. Players that step inside have come across some teasers that might be building up the Season 11 map.
This is referred to as the Parachute Pod and is located between Powerstation East and the Welcome Center. It is a bright orange sphere that references Bangalore’s brother Jackson.
You’ll find some loot once you step inside, but there are also a few teasers like the “contacting origin ship” message on a laptop. This POI connects back to a large cruiser which may be a part of Season 11’s Tropics map.
Notable data miner Shrugtal found out that new teasers will drop on October 14, 16, 18, and 20. As time goes on, this will be integral to understanding the map changes in Season 11.
While we don’t expect the Apex Legends map to get a major rework right away, Respawn Entertainment might be planning to add new POI in the pod’s place in an upcoming update.
It’s probably alluding to Season 11’s new map, but it’s worth keeping in mind that this is all purely speculation at the moment. Hopefully, the developers will announce something official soon.
