New Arenas map leaked for Apex Legends Season 11
Some notable Apex Legends data miners have discovered a new Season 11 Arenas map called ‘Habitat’ in the game files right after the Raiders Collection Event.
Apex Legends received a plethora of exciting new content in Season 11. Players were also treated to some new additions in the Raiders Collection Event, including a new heirloom for Wattson.
With fans wondering what Respawn Entertainment have planned next for the game, some Apex Legends data miners have uncovered a new Arenas map that may arrive later in Season 11.
While the Raiders Collection Event didn’t bring any huge changes for Arenas, it seems that the Apex Legends devs will be implementing a new map for the game mode. According to data miner KralRindo, it will be called ‘Habitat.’
As the name suggests, the map will have a tropical theme resembling that of Season 11’s Storm Point. The uncovered image shows a lush green landscape with a huge blue river in the center.
This seems like an ideal location for players to battle it out when hopping into a game of Apex Legends. It remains to be seen what other features are on the map, but we might see the addition of Wildlife.
The leaker was also able to uncover an image of the map’s exact layout from the Apex Legends game files. This new location seems to be much different than the other Arenas maps in the game.
Players will be able to take advantage of Habitat’s elevated terrain to dive down into the small bodies of water that surround them. This sounds like it will make for great cover during intense fights.
We also got another look at the Habitat map from notable data miner Shrugtal who discovered another load screen for it. The image shows three large eggs in the sandy part of this location.
The inclusion of this nest adds further credibility to the theory that we’ll see the arrival of Wildlife on this map, similar to that on Storm Point.
At the time of writing, it’s unclear when exactly this new Arenas map will be arriving in Apex Legends. We might see it added at some point during Season 11 or the developers might save it for Season 12.
However, it’s worth keeping in mind that these are currently just leaks that have yet to be verified by an official announcement from the developers. So, take this information with a grain of salt.
