New buff for Mozambique in Apex Legends Season 9
Season 9: Legacy will bring a ton of new content to Apex Legends, and it seems that the Mozambique is also set to receive a huge upgrade to its magazine in the coming update.
Apex Legends fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of Season 9: Legacy on May 4. The update will bring a plethora of new content for fans to enjoy, including new Hop-Ups, map alterations, and balancing changes for Legends.
The Mozambique shotgun will also get a huge buff when the update drops. While the weapon has already received an increase in its magazine size before, the Season 9 trailer has revealed another upcoming upgrade.
Respawn Entertainment released a teaser for Apex’s new Arenas mode, and a few eagle-eyed fans noticed Mirage using a Mozambique that’s able to hold six shots at once. This happened at the 1:30 mark in the trailer.
This is a big change for the sidearm since it’s currently only able to hold four rounds. Buffing up the gun’s magazine will allow you to fire more shots, and dish out more damage per clip to your opponents.
Being able to take down your enemies without reloading can prove valuable in the midst of battle, so this buff will make a huge difference to the Mozambique.
It’s worth keeping in mind that this Mozambique buff was shown in Arenas mode, and not the battle royale. So, it’s entirely possible that this is just a special stat that’s available only within that specific game mode.
Arenas mode will consist of a different playstyle, and could call for different weapons than the battle royale. We won’t know for sure until Respawn release the patch notes.
We’ll keep checking for any more updates regarding this, and will let you know if the devs confirm this buff for the main game as well.
