Will Apex Legends Mobile characters be added to PC & console?
Apex Legends players are wondering whether the exclusive-mobile Legends will ever be introduced on PC and consoles.
Apex Legends Mobile has impressed so far with a bunch of content in its first season. The mobile version of the battle royale is obviously very similar to the PC and console versions of the game, but it definitely has its exclusivities.
As well as some minor differences, Apex Legends Mobile also has platform-exclusive Legends, the first of which was introduced as Fade.
These exclusive mobile features have not only made PC and console players jealous but have also got them wondering if these mobile-only Legends will ever make it to the main game.
Will Mobile-exclusive characters be added to Apex Legends on PC/Console?
Unfortunately, Respawn Entertainment have confirmed that there are currently no plans to bring the Apex Legends Mobile characters to the PC and Console versions of the game.
In their official statement regarding this question, they actually say that the new mobile Legend Fade was specifically “developed for mobile,” perhaps hinting that not all future Apex Legends Mobile characters will just be designed for the platform.
Further, they didn’t rule out the possibility of it happening, stating that “it is a possibility in the future…if he [Fade] ends up on PC then that’s fantastic.” So, it doesn’t seem like it’s entirely out of the question, but for now, the answer is no.
We expect Apex Legends Mobile to continue having its own Mobile-exclusive Legends, especially as it drives Apex fans to the platform in order to try out a new Legend.
Apex Legends players on the main game shouldn’t be too jealous though, as Apex Mobile only has a small portion of the PC and console Legends.
It’s important to note that Apex Legends Mobile is actually a completely separate game from the PC and console version, even with a different dev team. Keeping this in mind, Apex Legends Mobile will likely continue to have more exclusive content, perhaps even weapons and maps.
