apex legends servers down server status

Like any other popular multiplayer game, Apex Legends has its fair share of bugs and server issues. However, we’ve found a great way for players to check their region’s Apex Legends server status, so let’s get into how you can check if the servers are down.

Apex Legends Season 12 has brought loads of new content to the game such as Mad Maggie and the Control LTM. Previously, big updates have caused server issues for the devs, however, in recent times, the game has been fairly smooth for players.

Although the servers have been relatively stable recently, players encounter these issues reasonably often and may even wonder whether it’s an issue on their end.

If you encounter any server issues, we have an excellent way for you to check the Apex Legends server status.

Are Apex Legends servers down?

Despite a reasonably stable launch, players are currently experiencing some issues with Apex Legends Season 12. Players are reporting issues with connecting to EA through Apex Legends, and also network problems with PlayStation Network.

Having said that, Respawn has not addressed this issue as of yet and not all players are experiencing the issue. So, this might actually be an issue with PlayStation Network or individual setups.

The best you can do if you’re currently experiencing these issues is wait for PlayStation or Respawn to respond to player issues or turn off your router and restart your console.

PlayStation Network WS-37469-9 error code

Despite PlayStation Network seemingly having no issues according to their PSN network status page, players are reporting the “WS-37469-9” error code, which is preventing them from connecting to the Apex Legends servers.

Hopefully, this issue is sorted out very soon, as it seems that it is only PlayStation users who are currently dealing with issues connecting to the Apex Legends servers.

However, if you’re experiencing issues and you’re on PC or Xbox, there are many ways for you to check the server status for Apex Legends so that you can figure out the root cause.

How to check the Apex Legends server status

One of the most obvious ways to stay updated on whether or not the Apex Legends servers are down is by following updates on Apex Legends Twitter account and the development team at Respawn.

Usually, one of those accounts will be updating and communicating to players about any server issues going on. Further, you can also follow our dedicated Apex Legends Twitter account, alphaINTEL, which is a great place to stay updated with anything Apex-related.

If you don’t have Twitter or have checked and haven’t seen any update on whether or not the Apex Legends servers are down, perhaps the problems you are experiencing are that of your setup or region.

How to check Apex Legends server status

There is a great way to check the regional Apex Legends server status for these specific problems so that you can see whether the issues you are experiencing are regional or due to your internet service provider.

The way to do so is through a handy website called apexlegendsstatus, which will give you a breakdown of server status in all the available regions, as well as all the platforms you could be playing the game on.

The website will even tell you how much latency (ms) in each server, indicating its stability.

Further, you can also report issues if there isn’t too much notice about the issue on the website, which will be added to a live report map you can check to see if people in your region are also experiencing the issue.

So, if you’re having issues, check this website to see whether it’s the platform or server you are playing that is having problems, or if these are all up and running, you can put it down to your setup.

Well, there you have it. This is the best way you can check the Apex Legends server status. For more on Apex, check out everything we currently know about Season 13.

Will Apex Legends Mobile characters be added to PC & console?

Apex Legends Mobile launched with Fade, an exclusive Legend, but will this character ever make it to the main game?

Published

on

Apex Legends players are wondering whether the exclusive-mobile Legends will ever be introduced on PC and consoles.

Apex Legends Mobile has impressed so far with a bunch of content in its first season. The mobile version of the battle royale is obviously very similar to the PC and console versions of the game, but it definitely has its exclusivities.

As well as some minor differences, Apex Legends Mobile also has platform-exclusive Legends, the first of which was introduced as Fade.

These exclusive mobile features have not only made PC and console players jealous but have also got them wondering if these mobile-only Legends will ever make it to the main game.

Will Mobile-exclusive characters be added to Apex Legends on PC/Console?

Unfortunately, Respawn Entertainment have confirmed that there are currently no plans to bring the Apex Legends Mobile characters to the PC and Console versions of the game.

In their official statement regarding this question, they actually say that the new mobile Legend Fade was specifically “developed for mobile,” perhaps hinting that not all future Apex Legends Mobile characters will just be designed for the platform.

Further, they didn’t rule out the possibility of it happening, stating that “it is a possibility in the future…if he [Fade] ends up on PC then that’s fantastic.” So, it doesn’t seem like it’s entirely out of the question, but for now, the answer is no.

We expect Apex Legends Mobile to continue having its own Mobile-exclusive Legends, especially as it drives Apex fans to the platform in order to try out a new Legend.

Apex Legends players on the main game shouldn’t be too jealous though, as Apex Mobile only has a small portion of the PC and console Legends.

It’s important to note that Apex Legends Mobile is actually a completely separate game from the PC and console version, even with a different dev team. Keeping this in mind, Apex Legends Mobile will likely continue to have more exclusive content, perhaps even weapons and maps.

Apex Legends players are jealous of superior mobile features

The Apex Legends community is seemingly jealous about some of the “better” features seen in the mobile version of the battle royale.

Now that players have finally been able to get their hands on the mobile version of Apex Legends, console and PC players are jealous about some of its exclusive features.

Apex Legends Mobile has officially launched, introducing the increasingly popular battle royale to the massive mobile gaming community.

As well as an exclusive Legend, Fade, the Apex community is realizing that the mobile version has other great exclusive features as well.

Reddit user JustNatass put a post up on the Apex Legend subreddit highlighting one of Apex Legends Mobile’s features that is not seen in the PC and console versions of the game.

The user even states that it’s “one of the many examples of how mobile apex has better features then normal apex.”

On Apex Legends Mobile, all of the Legends are unlocked in the Firing Range, which is great as it allows players to try them all and figure out which ones they would like to unlock based on gameplay.

Although it seems small, it’s something that PC and console players have asked for “multiple times.” Further, in the comments, players are mentioning more mobile-exclusive features such as “unlimited ammo in the firing range,” which players have also asked for on PC and console.

Some players even like the perk system in Apex Legends Mobile that isn’t in the traditional version of the game: “I also like how you can unlock different perks.”

There are many other features that are exclusive to the mobile version of Apex Legends, including a Team Deathmatch mode and the ability to go third-person.

Of course, not all of the mobile features will work on the PC and console versions of Apex Legends, but small features like the one mentioned in the Reddit post could definitely be added.
