UbisoftAssassin’s Creed Mirage mainly focuses on stealth skills such as eavesdropping to determine the enemy’s plans. Being discreet about it is essential when trying to complete some of the main quests, so here’s everything on how to successfully eavesdrop in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will ask players to play detective as they wander around the ancient city of Baghdad. While investigating, they’ll have to resort to every last bit of Basim’s abilities to avoid being discovered and getting the information they need to complete the main campaign.
Luckily for players, Basim’s background as a thief lets them use a few stealthy skills that don’t involve killing every person in sight. One of those skills is as simple as eavesdropping conversations, although it might be tricky to blend in the crowd to start listening to NPCs conversations.
Here’s everything you need to know about eavesdropping in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage: How to eavesdrop
To eavesdrop in Assassin’s Creed Mirage, all you need to do is locate the conversation you want to eavesdrop on and find the nearest hiding spot. After making sure you can’t be discovered, you’ll be able to lock in the conversation and focus on what the NPCs are saying. Here are the steps you should follow:
- Make sure that Basim is well hidden to observe a conversation.
- Use the eagle to uncover and mark targets from above.
- Focus on the NPCs that glow in orange.
- If you’re not using the eagle vision, NPCs will have a speaker mark above their heads.
Keep in mind that hiding around a corner will probably get you caught and you won’t be able to keep listening to the conversation.
Simply hiding around a corner out of sight won’t cut it, and make sure you stay hidden in your chosen spot for the duration of the conversation. The hiding spot you choose can be any interactive spot as long as it’s within the audio waveform ring that appears around the people having the conversation
When Basim is located in a secure place, the conversation will begin and you’ll acquire helpful information to be used in a mission or find valuable items in AC Mirage in side quests.
