A new glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone allows players to aim down sights faster, giving a decent advantage in gunfights.

The Black Ops Cold War x Warzone integration has brought some interesting bugs to the game, with the most frustrating one in the form of weapon attachments not actually doing what they are supposed to do, as discovered by YouTuber JGOD.

Since the beginning of Season 2, Raven has mostly fixed these issues, but still, it appears that certain attachments still have secret functions, or do the opposite of what they are supposed to do in general.

A new faulty, or glitched attachment has recently been brought to light via a Reddit post by user jelleu, who points out that the Black Ops Cold War “Ember Sighting Point” laser allows players to aim down sights faster with the XM4.

This is quite an interesting find, considering the actual stat of the attachment says it decreases aim down sight speed, but from the video above, you can clearly see it actually does the opposite.

According to commenter KcMitchell, this works on both the XM4 and the Cold War AK47 only. However, this is a huge stat boost to both weapons, making them highly viable in combat. You can watch a side-by-side comparison in the video below, uploaded by the original Reddit poster.

The difference is quite drastic, especially when you consider how fast engagements are in Warzone. With even a small edge against opponents, we’re sure players will find great loadouts to use with these weapons.

Specifically, the Cold War AK-47 has always struggled to find a solid place in Warzone’s meta, mostly due to its long aim-down sight time and sluggish handling. We’re willing to bet that this new bug will make the weapon more viable in combat in Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

Get out there and try this for yourself. We’ll update if we hear any word from Raven about fixing this attachment.
