Aydan breaks his Ashika Island kill record with deadly KV Broadside Warzone 2 loadout

Warzone 2 pro Aydan Conrad broke his personal kill record on Ashika Island using a deadly loadout for the new KV Broadside Shotgun, and he’s shared the build for other players to steal.

Warzone 2 Season 2 delivers five new weapons to the battle royale, with three available at launch and the Crossbow and Tempus Torrent Marksman Rifle coming later on.

Of the guns available right away, many have gravitated towards the ISO Hemlock, but the KV Broadside is also making a name for itself in the close-range meta. As a Shotgun, it seems to be especially powerful on the new Ashika Island map.

This was proven by pro Warzone 2 player Aydan, who used the KV Broadside to shatter his personal kill record, dropping a staggering 39 kills in a game of Resurgence.

After initially “hating” the KV Broadside and “hours” of experimenting with different attachments, Aydan finally landed on a hipfire build that he thinks is ideal for the close-quarters action of the Resurgence mode.

“This thing shoots super fast, it’s super accurate [with] hipfire, and it’s just amazing up close which is perfect for Ashika Island,” he explained in a YouTube video. “I would rank it A or S-tier right now, I’m not even joking. You have to try it out for yourself.”

He went on to claim that his setup could wipe enemies in just two or three shots, and the Broadside’s impressive fire rate helps it kill quickly.

Aydan’s hipfire KV Broadside loadout for Warzone 2 Ashika Island

Barrel: Range Twelve
Muzzle: Bryson Improved Choke
Laser: Point-G3P 04
Bolt: Dashbolt 60
Magazine: 25 Shell Drum

Aydan began his best KV Broadside loadout with the Range Twelve barrel and Bryson Improved Choke muzzle, as these combine to buff the Shotgun’s range and tighten up the pellet spread to make it more accurate.

Then, he went for the Point-G3P 04 laser to increase hipfire accuracy, ensuring you don’t need to waste precious seconds to ADS, as well as the Dashbolt 60 to speed up the fire rate and cut down the TTK.

Finally, enemies come at you thick and fast on Ashika Island, so Aydan chose 25 Shell Drums to allow you to deal with entire squads before having to reload.

So, if you’re looking for a close-range weapon to deal with the fast-paced gameplay of Ashika Island, consider giving this KV Broadside loadout a try in your next Resurgence match.
