Every Baldur’s Gate 3 voice actor
Narrator – Amelia Tyler
Amelia Tyler voices Baldur’s Gate narrator, accompanying players through the entire campaign. She is the perfect actress for the role thanks to her previous works with role-playing video games, like Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous and The Bard’s Tale IV.
She’s also voiced characters in Amnesia Rebirth, The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR, and Sea of Thieves, among many others. After her work in Baldur’s Gate 3, fans will also be able to listen to her in Hades 2, another highly-anticipated RPG title.
Astarion – Neil Newbon
Neil Newbon was Tyler’s castmate in We Happy Few, but most players will recognize him from the latest Resident Evil titles where he voiced Karl Heisenberg. In Baldur’s Gate 3, Newbon voices Astarion, a vampire companion who can walk in the sunlight but has a turbulent past.
Apart from his work in the Resident Evil series, where he voiced other characters, Newbon is also part of Final Fantasy XVI‘s cast.
Shadowheart – Jennifer English
The half-Elf Cleric Shadowheart has many tricks up her sleeve, and Jennifer English is in charge of her portrayal. English’s portfolio keeps growing in the video game industry after starring in games like Divinity: Original Sin II and Elden Ring.
She has also participated in live-action TV shows, but Baldur’s Gate 3 is probably the most popular work in her career so far.
Wyll – Lanre Malaolu
Lanre Malaolu is best known for his work in TV shows like Casualty, Doctors, and Hollyoaks. However, fairly recently he dipped his toe in the video game world with Last Stop. We might see – or hear – a lot more from him in video games in the coming years after Baldur’s Gate 3.
Gale – Tim Downie
Tim Downie is one of the many popular stars who lend their voice to give life to Baldur’s Gate 3 characters. This is actually Downie’s first job in a video game, but players might have seen him in some of his other works, like Outlander, Paddington, and Hapless.
Lae’zel – Devora Wilde
The Githyanki Fighter companion in Baldur’s Gate 3 is voiced by Devora Wilde. The actress has a very prolific career thanks to her many roles in TV shows like Stolen Life, Pandora, and Hollyoaks.
She’s also voiced characters in video games like Battlefield 2042 and Total War: Warhammer III, so she’s no stranger to this kind of project.
Jaheira – Tracy Wiles
You could say Tracy Wiles is another RPG expert since she’s also voiced characters in Diablo IV. While she’s mostly known for TV shows like Doctors, The Catch, and Holby City, her career in video games started in 2000 with the Chicken Run video game.
Recently, she has also worked on Total War: Warhammer III, Spellforce 3: Fallen God, and Onrush.
Minthara – Emma Gregory
Emma Gregory also has a career that goes back and forth between TV and video game roles. RPG fans might recognize her voice from Divinity: Original Sin and its sequel. She was also part of the Star Wars: Battlefront II cast and voiced Professor McGonagall in Niantic’s mobile game Harry Potter: Wizards Unite.
Minsc – Matthew Mercer
Voice acting legend Matthew Mercer couldn’t be left out of a game associated with Dungeons and Dragons, so he’s voicing the human Ranger Minsc in Baldur’s Gate 3. The beloved voice actor is fresh from voicing Ganondorf in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, but many will also know him from Overwatch, Fallout 4, or even anime like Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer.
General Ketheric Thorm – J.K. Simmons
Hollywood star J.K. Simmons also voices an important character in Baldur’s Gate 3. While those mentioned above play companions players can play with, General Ketheric Thorm is one of the many NPCs in Baldur’s Gate 3.
The actor, known from the Spider-Man movies, Whiplash, and even the Invincible TV show, adds his particular tone to the story, and players will not want him as their enemy.
Lord Enver Gortash – Jason Isaacs
Jason Isaacs is also joining the voice cast of Baldur’s Gate 3. The actor, best known for playing Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, is no stranger to video games and voice acting.
He participated in Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Hitman, and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2. He was also part of the Castlevania TV show, voicing The Judge.
There you have it, that was every Baldur’s Gate 3 confirmed voice actor.
