Baldur’s Gate 3 community shocked as players share funniest ways to die
Larian StudiosBaldur’s Gate 3 has brought a lot of incredible gameplay stories and lots of funny moments to the gaming community. Here’s what the BG3 community is saying about the “funniest ways to die” in the game.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has been conquering the hearts of the gaming community since its release back in August 2023. Ever since then, fans have grown into a community that loves to share their misadventures.
A Reddit post made by a Baldur’s Gate 3 player brought up the “funniest ways to die” to the spotlight, and the community was eager to share their peak humor moments of total party kill. Keep in mind that there are lots of spoilers ahead.
The post in question, was shared by Reddit user RepeatedlyTedious with the prompt: “What’s the funniest way you have died?” This quickly sparked the debate among Baldur’s Gate 3 fans, who rushed to share their funniest deaths in Larian’s take on D&D’s RPG world.
One of the players said: “I wanted to be dramatic, so in one scene I said ‘Okay… You must kill me. Do it.’ And then they killed me. I was more impressed than mad lol.”
While one of the users shared their fiery experience: “Igniting the Runepowder barrel I stole from the Ironhand gnome at Z’rell fight in moonrise and realizing the blast radius was the effing whole room and I basically got squad wipe.” And then added: “Also using Gale Netherease blast by accident.”
Yet another player confessed: “I, too, used Gale’s Netherese ability on accident.” It would seem, that Gale’s nuclear nature has triggered more than one party wipe, and traumatized several players in the process, becoming the primary cause of untimely gameovers.
Of course, this was followed closely by the infamous runepowder barrel: “I tried to take a supply pack next to Philomeen while my friend was talking to her. She promptly interrupted the conversation to insult me and blow up the runepowder barrel.”
