Baldur’s Gate 3 glitch makes forbidden romance option finally possible
Larian StudiosAlthough romancing multiple characters in Baldur’s Gate 3 is possible, more often than not the idea of it is followed by guilt for most players. However, a player has found a glitch to romance two characters at the same time.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has achieved overwhelming sales since its release back in August, and every fan seems to be mesmerized by the story and the various romance options in the game. With each of your eight companions perfectly romanceable, the game offers you a chance to explore their stories one by one.
However, if you are not satisfied with romancing a single companion, BG3 grants you a very limited opportunity to fulfill it. To tackle this, a Redditor has found a way to romance two of the most popular characters in the game, guilt-free.
According to a Reddit user named lauraxue, there is a hidden bug in the game that lets you romance both Astarion and Shadowheart at the same time. Considering their personalities and backgrounds, it is quite surprising for many fans that such an event is actually possible.
Both these characters have contrasting personalities and moral standings, which is why it is impossible to form a love triangle with them in Baldur’s Gate 3 normally. However, this interesting bug lets one do just that, as both of them are somehow in a relationship with Taz at the same time.
Additionally, fans do not seem to be upset with this bug, as “a cute goth gf and a cute vampire bf” doesn’t sound too bad to them. Plus, a fan has claimed that you can achieve this with Gale and Astarion too in BG3.
