Baldur’s Gate 3 received Hotfix 8 which fixes several bugs and crashes, but most importantly, it resolves the shared stash issue that players were complaining about.

Larian launched Baldur’s Gate 3 in a very stable state, but they have been updating it frequently. The game had recently received Patch 3, a major update that changed quite a bit about the game. It fixed some major performance issues, along with countless bugs and crashes.

However, some issues were still left behind, which Larian have been fixing with small hotfixes. The last one, Hotfix 7, fixed some issues related to save game corruption and crashes. This latest patch does a bit more than that, but it doesn’t add any major feature to the game. With that in mind, here’s everything that was changed or fixed with Hotfix 8.

Everything changed in Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix 8

Hotfix 8 for Baldur’s Gate 3 is a minor update that fixes some crashes, visual issues including those with Raphael and His Majesty, and the shared stash.

One major complaint with Patch 3 was that the game now had a shared inventory, where companions would send key items over to your main character when dismissed. Another complaint was that His Majesty, the Sphinx cat in Act 2, now had hair and was visually identical to Steelclaw, another cat in the same Act.

Thankfully, Larian took notice of these complaints and have fixed these issues with Hotfix 8 for Baldur’s Gate 3. His Majesty has been shaved, the shared stash has been undone, and many visual glitches, including Raphael’s hair color, have been fixed as well.
