Baldur’s Gate 3 players explain how to get Alfira’s hidden special rewards
Larian StudiosBaldur’s Gate 3 players are shocked to discover that everyone’s favorite Bard can give them three secret rewards if they just manage to talk to her after unlocking key quests. Here’s what the Baldur’s Gate 3 community is talking about.
Alfira is one of the most beloved NPCs of Baldur’s Gate 3, and players keep asking Larian Studios for her to join their adventure as a companion. While there aren’t any clues of their wish being fulfilled in any update soon, fans focused on discovering everything that devs might have hidden about the Bard.
Players got to know Alfira during Act 1, since she’s the bard of the tiefling refugee group that is living in the Emerald Grove. Unless they’ve chosen to play as the Dark Urge and decide to kill her in the first part of the game, she appears throughout the adventure and can give players a few sidequests.
However, the YouTube channel GMWorkshop discovered that Alfira isn’t only a wholesome character, but she can also give players powerful power-ups in all three acts. Players quickly gathered to answer their Short, and also contributed with some other interesting rewards you can get from her.
During Act 1, users explained that the character can claim their first reward by asking for her lute in Emerald Grove to help her write her song. If the player passes two Performance checks, she’ll reward them with Instrument Proficiency.
During Act 2, Alfira is more than happy to reward players if they manage to help enough tieflings out of the Moonrise Towers, which can be done if they head straight to the Moonrise Prison (X:-175 Y:-193) and help Wulbren to escape along with the other prisoners.
After doing so, they should talk to her in The Last Light Inn, and she’ll give them the Potent Robe, a Very Rare clothing that’s one of the best for Wizards and Warlocks thanks to its unique buffs.
Baldur’s Gate 3 players can get Alfira’s last rewards after wiping out Moonrise Towers, where they can see her playing her lute in the Throne Room. If you’re playing as a Bard and play alongside her, Alfira will give you the Improved Bardic Inspiration.
“You can get the Improved Bardic Inspiration on multiple characters. They each have to play with Alfira, and pass a Performance check,” explained a player. Players also added that you can even get her lute if you meet her in the Elf Song tavern during Act 3.
“What do you mean she rewards me after I save all tieflings? I saved everyone…just never thought to talk to her,” reacted a fan. Most players also admitted to never interacting with Alfira that much, or to even completely miss the options where she grants you these items.
And that’s everything about Alfira’s secret rewards in Baldur’s Gate 3. If you want to know more about the game, you can check why players are split over the “tempting” Raphael deal in Act 3, or which tips you can use to easily solve the “annoying” Brain puzzle.
