Baldur’s Gate 3 players highlight “most forgettable” side quests
Larian StudiosBaldur’s Gate 3 fans are shocked to find an extensive list of minor quests that they’ve managed to miss entirely, even after several playthroughs. Here’s what the Baldur’s Gate 3 community has been talking about.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has an extensive story where players need to explore every inch of Faerun while trying to stop the Mind Flayers’ invasion. However, its world is huge and ridden with side quests that can potentially alter the game’s outcome or at least give players a couple of useful items.
Since Larian Studios’ RPG is huge, fans already know that some missions haven’t been discovered yet. This has rallied players in a Reddit post called “Side quests you always miss/ignore?” where they shared which minor challenge they always skip despite their best efforts.
“For me, it’s the harpies in Act 1. I forget to do it every single time. Sorry kid,” commented Redditor ‘CinnamonHotcake.’ Fans have discovered that this easy-to-miss quest is part of the “Leave No One Behind” achievement, which can easily turn into a headache for most adventurers.
During Act 3, Baldur’s Gate city quickly turns into mayhem, leaving many players running around to solve every quest before it’s too late. In the middle of all this chaos, fans agreed that they always managed to miss the “Stop the presses” quest.
This is also true for the “Find Dribbles The Clown” quest in Baldur’s Gate 3 since it’s a huge side mission that asks players to investigate the city thoroughly for the clown’s body parts.
“Always get the torso of the clown, never found anything else. Like come on, I’m never in the mood to fetch some body parts for a greedy circus owner. On the first playthrough, I looked at the wiki, and it appeared that every body part was hidden somewhere else, and I was like ‘Nope, not doing it’,” said user ‘sanyaX3M.’
While Baldur’s Gate 3 fans pointed out that there’s plenty of content hidden during Act 3, some couldn’t move on after finding out they didn’t meet Tara, Gale’s tressym. “Found the tressym stuff very missable in Act 3, since you have to go jumping/flying around to find them,” described user ‘turtleProphet.’
And that’s some of the side quests that players think they’re the most forgettable in Baldur’s Gate 3. If you want to know more about Larian Studios’ RPG, you can check which QoL reworks players want to see in the next update, and what is the “heartbreaking” reason behind Gale’s ambition.
