Baldur’s Gate 3 has taken millions of players on a journey across the Sword Coast and brought more than one smile to their faces. But some parts of the game are worth framing, like this hilarious barn scene close-up that has the community cracking up.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is a game that has it all: colorful characters, memorable events, places to go, weapons to grab, things to kill, and also, fun times. Despite the fact that your party is always on the verge of dying in a horrifying way, there’s always room for humor in the story.

This Baldur’s Gate 3 player proved that even the funny moments of the story can have little aspects that make them even more fun. And like the saying goes: the devil is in the details.

Reddit user ‘HashtagTSwagg’ shared this close caption of one of the iconic humorous moments of Larian Studios’ blockbuster RPG, and the community was losing it:

The player shared a close-up of their party member’s faces when they enter the Barn in the abandoned village during Act 1. The shock, disgust, and horror can be seen in almost every single one of them, except Astarion, whose face has triggered quite a lot of debate.

For those unaware of which scene of Baldur’s Gate 3 we are talking about, during your trip to the abandoned village, you find yourself at the gates of a strange and noisy barn. Your character has the choice to open the door to see what’s going on inside or leave it be.

Of course, all members of the group will discourage you from prying open the doors. Except for Astarion, who is absolutely cracking up about the results if you go ahead and open it.

One of the users had this to say about it: “Astarion kills me. Everyone else is horrified and he’s practically strutting in there with finger guns. The facial animation in this game is absolutely one of the best and most immersive parts.” Another player answered: “He is the only one that wants to open the door, everyone is like nope don’t do it.”

Another player commented on this: “My wife is playing a bard in a couple of games because of this kind of stuff. The first time that happened, she f***ing died laughing. It’s okay though. Withers brought her back.”

Silly as this might sound, Baldur’s Gate 3 has a lot of these funny moments spread around the main storyline to keep the mood light in the middle of all the drama.

So in case you are wandering the Sword Coast yourself, and you want to take part in one of the many funny sub-quests the game has to offer, here’s a guide on how to find all Dribbles the Clown parts. And to keep things serious, here’s how to save the Gondians during Act 3.
